Abstract: A badge holder is carried upon a person and has a pocket to contain and display an identification badge. A plurality of switches are provided, in a preferred embodiment discretely accessible on the rear face of the holder, opposite to the badge. Each of the switches presents a unique tactile configuration that enables the person to identify and activate a selected switch entirely by touch, which will initiate a desired communication with a command center. The command center will determine from the communication, which preferably uniquely identifies the selected switch, the badge holder, the badge holder location, and what actions are desired by the person. These actions will then be communicated from the command center to other devices for handling by appropriate personnel. The communications may further include text, audio, or video files, where appropriate.

Abstract: A light emitting diode (LED) end cap warning signal assembly is disclosed. The end cap warning signal assembly includes a controller for generating a warning signal that simulates a rotating warning light signal. The end cap warning signal assembly further includes an integer number of M-LEDs arranged in an integer number of N-LED groups, with each LED having a duty cycle and at least 6 states.
