  • Patent number: 8003889
Abstract: A conduit sleeve for a concrete pass through includes a tubular member having an inside diameter for receiving a cylindrical conduit at a forward end thereof. A flange is coupled to a rearward end of the tubular member. The flange is for coupling to a concrete form. A flexing structure is coupled to one or more of the tubular member and the flange for allowing the flange to be angled relative to the tubular member when the flange is installed on a concrete form. The tubular member is configured for receiving a conduit and the flexing structure allows the conduit to remain horizontal when there are variations in the angle of the form. Another conduit sleeve includes a coupling part, a flange, and a plurality of tabs that extend outwardly from the flange.

  • Patent number: 7896404
Abstract: A tubular reducer fitting for transitioning from an existing electrical nonmetallic tubing socket of one size to an electrical nonmetallic tubing socket of a smaller size. The male end portion has a cylindrical outer surface with a pair of axially-spaced projections extending outwardly therefrom and is receivable in an existing electrical nonmetallic tubing socket. The female end portion has an electrical nonmetallic tubing socket therein. The male end portion is configured for locking reception in a first trade size electrical nonmetallic tubing socket and the opposite female connector end portion has a smaller trade size electrical nonmetallic tubing socket herein.

  • Patent number: 7387288
Abstract: A fitting for attaching ENT tubing to a concrete form has an inverted cup-like configuration with a bottom opening and an internal cavity within a fitting wall. A flange extends outwardly from the fitting wall around the bottom opening and has fastener-receiving holes for attaching the fitting to a plane surface of a concrete form. A socket extends through the fitting wall into the cavity for receiving an end portion of an ENT tube. The socket has a plurality of circumferentially-spaced resilient fingers that are inclined inwardly toward the socket axis for gripping an ENT tube. A pair of opposite fingers have teeth that are receivable in an annular groove in an end portion of a corrugated ENT tube. The teeth have rounded ends to facilitate ratcheting movement of the ENT tube end portion both into and out of the socket.

  • Patent number: 7353961
Abstract: An electrical outlet box molded of plastic material has a knockout arrangement in a box wall that is formed by inner, intermediate and outer circular grooves that are eccentrically positioned to overlap at a tangent location and define inner, intermediate and outer eccentrically positioned circular knockouts. The grooves vary in depth from a minimum depth at the tangent location to a maximum depth opposite from the tangent location. Areas of increased weakness are provided in the box wall at the bottoms of at least the inner and intermediate grooves, and screwdriver slots are provided in the knockouts opposite from the tangent location.

  • Patent number: 6450353
Abstract: A floor box cover assembly includes a ring receivable within an open end portion of the floor box, and further includes a cover structure having an access opening for providing access to the receptacle. A cylindrical wall on the cover structure fits within the ring when the cover structure is installed over the ring. The ring and the cover structure together define a plurality of radially projecting pins and a corresponding plurality of J-hook slots that receive the pins upon installation of the cover structure over the ring. The slots are free of detent constrictions for interlocking with the pins. Additionally, the ring is a split ring and fits within the floor box in an installed position in which opposite ends of the split ring define a circumferentially extending gap. The cover structure has an alignment boss that blocks insertion of the cylindrical wall into the split ring in positions other than a position in which the alignment boss is received within the gap.
