  • Publication number: 20130232204
Abstract: Automated response options manage messaging by comparing content of an input message to content saved in a store of previous messages, and to meta data content of each of a plurality of frequently asked question web pages. If the compared content matches to either of the saved content or to the frequently asked question web pages meta data content and the message meets a requirement of a policy rule, a reply message is automatically composed and sent by a processing unit, the reply including the matching content or a link to the matching content if the input message is a newly received message. If the content does not match or the input message does not meet the policy rule requirement, a copy of the message is saved and a user prompted to manually compose and send a reply.

  • Patent number: 5558202
Abstract: Apparatus for applying a pushing force on a plurality of circular container ends to move them over a trough shape tray wherein two spaced apart rollers are each mounted for rotation about a longitudinal axis and each roller has a surface contour in the longitudinal direction comprising a central arcuate section having a radius smaller than the radius of each of the circular container ends and spaced apart linearly extending sections extending from each end of the central arcuate section and cylindrical sections extending from each of the linearly extending sections.

  • Patent number: 4898270
Abstract: An improved apparatus for aligning and transporting containers is disclosed. The apparatus includes a hopper having dividers with the dividers having top surfaces which decline from one end wall of the hopper at different angles. A conveyor is provided and positioned underneath at least a portion of the hopper for transporting containers aligned by the hopper. The containers are transported along the conveyor toward a movable deflector means for deflecting any containers which are not properly aligned. Containers which are in proper alignment pass underneath and drop away from the deflector means in uniform alignment and are further processed by a detecting or scanning device.

  • Patent number: 4717026
Abstract: An apparatus is provided to rapidly and automatically scan the UPC, or bar code, from a series of containers and maintain tallies of the brands and types of containers processed. The containers are fed in end-to-end orientation onto the upper end of the trough between an inclined pair of parallel rollers. Both rollers are rotated in the same direction, causing each container to spin as it slides down the length of the rollers. The inclination of the rollers causes the containers to accelerate, increasing the spacing between containers as they reach the lower end of the rollers. A number of scanners are positioned above the lower end of the rollers to read the UPC from each container.
