  • Publication number: 20230096802
Abstract: A door system includes a multi-panel door and a dual-synchronization drive assembly for the door system. The dual-synchronization drive assembly has a structural configuration and functionality that combines a drive mechanism with a synchronization mechanism. The dual-synchronization drive assembly transmits a drive force in a manner that causes linear movement of door panels of the multi-panel door system between an open position and a closed position. The dual-synchronization drive assembly causes a synchronized movement of the door panels at different linear speeds/velocities to fully advance the door panels to the open position or the closed position simultaneously. The dual-synchronization drive assembly includes a dual gear unit that is configurable to allow for any motion/speed ratio necessary in order to obtain a specific performance objective of the door system.

  • Patent number: 6254402
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a shell, an insert arranged at least partially inside the shell, a contact supported by the insert, and a removable pin for connecting the contact to an inside surface of the shell. The connector is assembled by mounting the ground contact in the insert so that the a receiving hole in the insert is aligned with the pin receptacle on the ground contact. The pin is the slid through the pin receiving hole and into the pin receptacle before the shell is slid over the pin so that the pin abuts an inside surface of the shell and connects the contact to the shell.

  • Patent number: 5865329
Abstract: A standard hermaphroditic pneumatic glad-hand coupler includes a data bus connector containing a pair of contacts, each contact having an axis tangential to the arc along which the connector is carried during rotation of the coupler during establishment of a pneumatic connection. The pair of contacts can be in the form of a pair of hermaphroditic contacts, or one female and one male contact. In the female/male version, the female contact is surrounded on all sides except the mating and termination ends by an elastomeric dielectric projection and the male contact is situated in a pocket bordered by elastomeric dielectric material and arranged to receive the elastomeric dielectric projection when the male and female contacts are mated together upon coupling the glad-hand coupler with an identical glad-hand coupler so as to surround both contacts and also isolate the contacts from each other.

  • Patent number: 5681177
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a shell having a radially extending annular flange, a coupling nut, and an anti-decoupling arrangement. The anti-decoupling arrangement is made up of a flexible friction producing member which is captured in a compressed state to hold the coupling nut in place solely by virtue of the frictional engagement between the friction producing member and the coupling nut.

  • Patent number: 5679025
Abstract: A front connector insert includes a removable front portion and a rear portion which is fixed in the connector. The rear portion retains the terminus of an optical fiber or electrical cable, with the removable front portion being removable to expose the terminus for cleaning or testing. The removable front portion includes a latching clip having a detent at one end which engages an indentation in the fixed portion of the insert when the removable portion of the insert is aligned with the fixed portion such that the clips align with grooves in the fixed insert. Removal of the removable portion of the insert is accomplished using a simple removal tool having an L-shaped extension which is inserted into a corresponding L-shaped recess in the front insert, the removal tool being rotated following insertion so that the removable insert can easily be removed from the connector to expose the optical fiber termini and contacts and permit testing or cleaning.
