Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for semi-automated, portable, ultrasound guided cannulation. The systems and methods provide for image analysis to provide for identification of anatomical landmarks from image data. The image analysis provides for guidance for insertion of a cannulation system into an airway of a subject which may be accomplished by a non-expert based upon the guidance provided. The system further enables a single person to perform the cannulation rather than the typical 2 or more people. The guidance may include an indicator or a mechanical guide to guide a user for inserting the cannulation system into a subject to penetrate the airway of interest.

  • Publication number: 20230281825
Abstract: A computing device, method, system, and instructions in a non-transitory computer-readable medium for performing image analysis on 3D microscopy images to predict localization and/or labeling of various structures or objects of interest, by predicting the location in such images at which a dye or other marker associated with such structures would appear. The computing device, method, and system receives sets of 3D images that include unlabeled images, such as transmitted light images or electron microscope images, and labeled images, such as images captured with fluorescence tagging. The computing device trains a statistical model to associate structures in the labeled images with the same structures in the unlabeled light images. The processor further applies the statistical model to a new unlabeled image to generate a predictive labeled image that predicts the location of a structure of interest in the new image.

  • Patent number: 11499816
Abstract: A coded localization system includes a plurality of optical channels arranged to cooperatively distribute electromagnetic energy from at least one object onto a plurality of detectors. Each of the channels includes a localization code that is different from any other localization code in other channels, to modify electromagnetic energy passing therethrough. Digital outputs from the detectors are processable to determine sub-pixel localization of the object onto the detectors, such that a location of the object is determined more accurately than by detector geometry alone. Another coded localization system includes a plurality of optical channels arranged to cooperatively distribute a partially polarized signal onto a plurality of pixels. Each of the channels includes a polarization code that is different from any other polarization code in other channels to uniquely polarize electromagnetic energy passing therethrough. Digital outputs from the detectors are processable to determine a polarization pattern.

  • Patent number: 11363076
Abstract: Concepts and technologies provided herein can provide high-definition voice for fixed mobile convergence on mobile and wireline networks. A processor executing instructions can detect a call request associated with a called telephone number to setup a call session, where the call request is initiated from a calling device associated with an originating network. The processor can determine a call path for the call session from the originating network to a receiving network. The processor can create a fixed mobile convergence request to alert an electronic number mapping system of the call path for the call session from the originating network to the receiving network. The electronic number mapping system can provide a network presence map identifying a plurality of call receiving devices associated with the called telephone number that are available to participate in the call session via the receiving network.
