Abstract: An air filter media construction or arrangement is disclosed. The air filter media construction or arrangement includes strips of media comprising corrugated sheets secured to facing sheets and forming inlet and outlet flutes secured to one another in a stack. Blocked stacked arrangements and slanted stacked arrangements are shown. Such stacked media is provided with molded end pieces to secure and seal opposite side edges of the media strips. Also described are serviceable filter cartridges and air cleaners including the filter cartridges.

Abstract: Z-filter media pack arrangements and methods for providing them are described. The preferred arrangements have a cured-in-place jacket around an outside of a coiled z-filter media combination. The preferred cured-in-place jacket is a mold-in-place overmold which includes, integral therein, a housing seal arrangement. Preferably a cured-in-place center core is used, most preferably one that has opposite concave ends with seal arrangements configured to seal a lead end portion of the coiled z-filter media combination.

Abstract: A fluted filter medium (74) comprising a corrugated filter sheet, where each flute (120) has an end closure defined by a regular fold arrangement in the corresponding corrugation. Each regular fold arrangement has at least four folds. A process for manufacturing the fluted filter medium comprising deforming a portion of each corrugation to define at least one foldable tip, and folding the said tip in order to close the corrugation.
