  • Patent number: 11996190
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to aggregating and sharing wellness data. The wellness data can be received by a user device from any number of sensors external or internal to the user device, from a user manually entering the wellness data, or from other users or entities. The user device can securely store the wellness data on the user device and transmit the wellness data to be stored on a remote database. A user of the device can share some or all of the wellness data with friends, relatives, caregivers, healthcare providers, or the like. The user device can further display a user's wellness data in an aggregated view of different types of wellness data. Wellness data of other users can also be viewed if authorizations from those users have been received.

  • Patent number: 10391987
Abstract: A method of controlling a vehicle including providing a system having a plurality of brakes and a curve detecting mechanism. Each brake of the plurality of brakes is configured to slow rotation of a respective wheel. The method further includes detecting a curve in a forward travel path of the vehicle using the curve detecting mechanism. At least two brakes but fewer than all of the plurality of brakes are pre-filled in response to the detection of a curve.

  • Publication number: 20190187719
Abstract: A method of autonomously assisting the operation of a host vehicle traveling on a first lane of a roadway includes detecting the presence of an emergency vehicle along the roadway. The distance between the host vehicle and one of the emergency vehicle and an associated stationary vehicle is monitored. A steering gear is actuated to laterally move the host vehicle out of the first lane when the distance between the host vehicle and one of the emergency vehicle and the stationary vehicle reaches a predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 10293819
Abstract: A system for autonomously assisting the operation of a host vehicle traveling on a first lane of a roadway includes at least one camera assembly for detecting the presence and speed of a vehicle merging into the first lane. A proximity sensor monitors the distance between the host vehicle and the merging vehicle. A controller electrically is connected to the at least one camera assembly and the proximity sensor and, in response to receiving signals from the at least one camera assembly and the proximity sensor, actuates a steering gear to laterally move the host vehicle from the first lane to a second lane of the roadway to allow the merging vehicle to enter the first lane.
