    Abstract: An easily opened package is made by heat sealing a first web to a second web. The sealing layer of the first web is a blend of polybutene and polypropylene with a third polymeric material of ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer. Low density polyethylene, linear low density polyethylene, or ionomer. The sealant layer of the second web is ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, low density polyethylene, linear low density polyethylene or ionomer.
