Publication number: 20240169821Abstract: Techniques for generating alerts related to unsafe/unhealthy home conditions may include monitoring sensor data associated with a home environment over a period of time; analyzing the sensor data associated over the period in order to identify an unsafe/unhealthy condition associated with the home environment over the period; obtaining sensor data associated with a resident of the home environment over the period; determining that the resident of the home environment is not physically present at the home environment over the period; upon identifying an unsafe/unhealthy condition associated with the home environment over the period and determining that the resident of the home environment is not physically present at the home environment over the period, generating an alert indicating the identified unsafe or unhealthy condition associated with the home environment over the period; and transmitting the alert to a computing device associated with the resident of the home environment.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 20, 2023Publication date: May 23, 2024Inventors: Eric Allyn Finley, Jennifer L. Publication number: 20240169601Abstract: Systems and methods for providing augmented reality overlay displays related to repairs may include obtaining sensor data associated with a home or vehicle and analyzing the sensor data associated to identify a vehicle component and/or home appliance that is not functioning properly. Repairs for the vehicle component and/or home appliance that is not functioning properly may be identified, and a determination may be made as to whether it is safe for a vehicle operator and/or home resident to perform the repair. If so, an augmented reality overlay display may be presented upon images/video of the vehicle/home captured in real time, identifying vehicle/home components that must be manipulated in order to perform the repair. If not, the augmented reality display may identify portions of the vehicle or home of which the vehicle operator must capture images in order to request a professional repair or submit an insurance claim.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 20, 2023Publication date: May 23, 2024Inventors: Eric Allyn Finley, Jennifer L. Crawford, Corin Rebekah Chapman, Edward W. Breitweiser, Gregory Wong

Publication number: 20240170117Abstract: Techniques for detecting health conditions associated with residents of a home environment based upon data captured by in-home sensors may include monitoring sensor data associated with a home environment; analyzing the sensor data over a first period of time in order to identify a health condition associated with a resident of the home environment; identifying one or more mitigation techniques for the health condition; providing an indication of the one or more mitigation techniques for the health condition, via a user interface; and analyzing the sensor data associated with the home environment over a second period of time, subsequent to providing the indication of the one or more mitigation techniques for the health condition via the user interface, in order to determine whether any of the one or more mitigation techniques were performed.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 20, 2023Publication date: May 23, 2024Inventors: Eric Allyn Finley, Jennifer L. Crawford, Corin Rebekah Chapman, Edward W. Breitweiser, Gregory Wong

Publication number: 20240111825Abstract: An apparatus to facilitate single precision support for systolic pipeline in a graphics environment is disclosed. The apparatus includes a processor comprising systolic array hardware including a plurality of data processing units, wherein the systolic array hardware is to: receive data for performance of a matrix multiplication operation in a first precision format; convert an original value of the data into two split values with a second precision format having a lower precision than the first precision format; perform the matrix multiplication operation using the two split values in the second precision format, the matrix multiplication operation comprising a split-term operation that utilizes two passes through the systolic array hardware with feedback wiring and local reduction; and generate an emulated result for the matrix multiplication operation in the first precision format.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 30, 2022Publication date: April 4, 2024Applicant: Intel CorporationInventors: Jiasheng Chen, Changwon Rhee, Kevin Hurd, Gregory Henry, Peter Caday, Kristopher Wong

Patent number: 8112118Abstract: A system and method for activating a subscriber identification module (SIM) based mobile device in a PCS/ANSI type wireless network. The method comprises pre-programming the SIM card of the mobile device with temporary activation identifiers, such as an international mobile station identity (IMSI) and/or a mobile identification number (MIN), and a temporary electronic serial number. The temporary electronic serial number, rather than the mobile device actual electronic serial number, is used to identify the mobile device during registration and activation. The network identifies the temporary electronic serial number associated with the SIM vendor and invokes an over-the-air activation procedure especially for the SIM card mobile devices. A SIM-over-the-air-activation processor is notified to perform the activation for that mobile device on the PCS wireless network.Type: GrantFiled: May 11, 2009Date of Patent: February 7, 2012Assignee: AT&T Mobility II LLCInventors: Hugh H. Shieh, Gregory A. Wong

Patent number: 7583964Abstract: A method includes selecting a registration resource at a first location and assigning the registration resource to a customer at a second location. The registration resource is released at the second location independently of the first location.Type: GrantFiled: February 21, 2006Date of Patent: September 1, 2009Assignee: AT&T Mobility II LLCInventor: Gregory A. Publication number: 20080242285Abstract: The present invention relates to hotline routing of calls originating from mobile stations. The hotline routing conserves MSISDNs for valid subscribers and provides a relatively generic solution. In one example, a computer system stores in a location register a subscriber profile with an IMSI and a pseudo-MSISDN. A mobile station (which includes a SIM with the IMSI) originates a call. After translation of the pseudo-MSISDN, a serving MSC routes the call to a service activation center.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 10, 2008Publication date: October 2, 2008Applicant: AT&T Mobility II LLCInventors: Scott E. Riffe, Steven I. Carlson, Gregory A. Wong

Publication number: 20070168514Abstract: A system and method for managing output such as printing, faxing, and e-mail over various types of computer networks. In one aspect, the method provides for printing via a wireless device. The system provides renderable data to the wireless device by which a user-interface (UI) may be rendered. The UI enables users to select source data and an output device on which the source data are to be printed. The source data are then retrieved from a local or remote store and forwarded to a print service, which renders output image data corresponding to the source data and the output device that was selected. The output image data are then submitted to the output device to be physically rendered. The user-interfaces enable wired and wireless devices to access the system. The system enables documents to be printed by reference, and enables access to resources behind firewalls.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 10, 2006Publication date: July 19, 2007Inventors: Thomas Cocotis, Alan Curtis, David Emmett, Shengkuo Fan, Kristofer Henderson, Jack Luepke, Howard Nellor, Jay Treptow, Gregory Wong

Publication number: 20060294251Abstract: A system and method for managing output such as printing, faxing, and e-mail over various types of computer networks. In one aspect, the system and method provides for accessing print and/or document resources located on private networks behind firewalls. A pass-through communication link is established between system components located on opposing sides of a firewall. A system-served user-interface enables users to select source data and an output device on which the source data are to be printed, either or both of which may reside behind the firewall. The source data are then retrieved and forwarded to a print service, which renders output image data corresponding to the source data and the selected output device. The output image data are then submitted to the output device to be physically rendered. Access to private resources is provided by the pass-through communication link. The system also enables documents to be printed by reference.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 20, 2006Publication date: December 28, 2006Inventors: Thomas Cocotis, Alan Curtis, David Emmett, Shengkuo Fan, Kristofer Henderson, Jack Luepke, Howard Nellor, Jay Treptow, Gregory Wong
