  • Publication number: 20210131285
Abstract: The invention relates to an external gear machine (1) in particular an external gear pump or an external gear motor, having at least two gears (3, 4) that mesh with each other in external engagement, wherein the gears (3, 4) are surrounded by a housing (10), wherein one gear (4) has at least one bearing journal (7, 8) and the other gear (3) has a driving or driven journal (5), which are in each case mounted in a bearing bushing (38) so as to respectively be rotatable about a rotation axis (13, 14), wherein a bearing sleeve pp with an anti-twist element is arranged in the bearing bushing (38). In order to improve the external gear machine, in particular with regard to the materials that can be used for producing the bearing bushings and/or the service life, the anti-twist element of the bearing sleeve is arranged in a through-hole of the bearing bushing and is combined with a filter device and/or throttle device via which a working medium of the external gear machine (1) reaches the bearing sleeve.

  • Publication number: 20190211819
Abstract: The invention relates to an external gear pump (1) having a pump housing (2). An inlet (2a), an outlet (2b), and a working chamber (6) are formed in the pump housing (2). A first gear (11), which is arranged on a first shaft (21), and a second gear (12), which is arranged on a second shaft (22), are arranged in the working chamber (6) in such a way that said first and second gears mesh with each other. Both gears (11, 12) have teeth having a tooth width (b). The first shaft (21) is radially supported in at least one plain bearing (61), and the second shaft (22) is radially supported in at least one further plain bearing (63). The plain bearing (61) has a bearing diameter (D63), and the further plain bearing (63) has a further bearing diameter (D63). During operation of the external gear pump (1), a delivery volume (V) of a working medium can be conveyed from the inlet (2a) to the outlet (2b). The two bearing diameters (D61, D63) are selected in such a way that the ratio V/(D612*b) is less than 1.

  • Patent number: 8979518
Abstract: A toothed wheel machine including a housing for receiving two meshing and especially helical-toothed wheels. The toothed wheels are axially mounted in a sliding manner by axial surfaces between bearing bodies received in the housing, and radially by a bearing shaft received in the bearing bodies. During the operation of the toothed wheel machine, an axial component of a force resulting from the hydraulic and mechanical forces generated during operation acts on each toothed wheel in the same axial direction. A counter-force against the respective axial force component is applied to the toothed wheels and/or bearing shafts, each counter-force applying the same amount of pressure as the respective axial force component, or less than same.

  • Publication number: 20120156080
Abstract: A toothed wheel machine including a housing for receiving two meshing toothed wheels. The toothed wheels are axially mounted in a sliding manner by axial surfaces between bearing bodies received in the housing, and radially by a bearing shaft received in the bearing bodies. Hydraulic mechanical forces are generated during the operation of the toothed wheel machine, an axial force component of the forces acting on each toothed wheel in the same axial direction. In order to counteract said axial force component, a pressure field is provided between at least one axial surface of one of the toothed wheels in the direction of the action of the axial force component, and the bearing body adjacent to the at least one axial surface.

  • Patent number: 6371273
Abstract: A workpiece carrier (10) for conveying one or more workpieces with a belt conveyor (12,18) is described, which reduces the production cycle time of an industrial manufacturing plant. The workpiece carrier (10) includes energy storage devices (24,32,38), into which energy of motion of the workpiece carrier (10) is transferred when the workpiece carrier is braked against or stopped on the belt conveyor (12,18). The energy storage devices each include a coupling element (28,36), advantageously a friction wheel 28 or contacting piece 36, urged into continuous contact with the conveyor belt, and a spring device, advantageously a spiral spring 30 or a coil spring 34, connected with the friction wheel and put under tension when the workpiece carrier (10) is braked. If the workpiece carrier is no longer braked or stopped, the spring device is released and delivers stored energy by driving the friction wheel or contacting piece, where by the workpiece carrier (10) is additionally accelerated.

  • Patent number: 5496163
Abstract: A gear machine (pump or motor) has two externally meshing gear pairs (21, 22) which are arranged so as to be offset relative to one another and are attached to a drive shaft (31) by a toothing (30), the number of teeth of the toothing (30) being an even-number multiple of the external teeth of the driven toothed wheels (16, 18). The toothing width (b) of the driven toothed wheels (16, 18) on the drive shaft (31) is smaller than their toothed wheel width (B), in particular smaller than one-half the toothed wheel width (B). This improves the mechanical characteristics of the gear machine its operating reliability. The invention can also be used with gear machines with only one gear pair (21a).
