Patent number: 7890213Abstract: A mixing machine for mixing a fluid product contained in a container, comprising one or more mixing devices, each able to mix the product according to a determinate mixing cycle chosen from a plurality of elementary mixing cycles. A command and control unit has a first memory in which the operating sequences of the plurality of elementary mixing cycles are memorized, and is connected to a data introduction device associated with a second memory in which the characteristics of the container or of the product to be mixed are memorized. Each operating sequence of the determinate mixing cycle is pre-defined according to the characteristics memorized in the second memory.Type: GrantFiled: April 5, 2005Date of Patent: February 15, 2011Assignee: CPS Color Equipment Spa Con Unico SocioInventors: Guido Greco, Fabrizio Benatti

Patent number: 7819577Abstract: Clamping device and method to temporarily clamp, in a mixing machine (11), a container (12) containing a fluid product, comprising two clamping elements (20, 21), opposite each other and able to clamp the container (12) in a determinate position. A movement mechanism (22), controlled by a control unit (24), is able to reciprocally move the clamping elements (20, 21) and impart thereto a clamping force (F) or clamping impulse, according to the actual height (L) of the container (12). The control unit (24) is also able to calculate, as a function of the clamping force (F), a relative clamping speed (v3), at which to move reciprocally the two clamping elements (20, 21) so as to clamp the container.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2005Date of Patent: October 26, 2010Assignee: CPS Color Equipment Spa Con Unico SocioInventors: Guido Greco, Fabrizio Benatti, Andrea Capucci

Publication number: 20050141341Abstract: An apparatus for processing fluid products, in particular paints and the like, comprising a main structure (11) which defines a housing space (15) having an access opening (16), door means (17) which are coupled to the main structure (11) and which can be selectively moved from a closed position to an open position of at least part of the access opening (16), and vice versa, and support means (20, 22, 50) for at least one container of fluid products to be processed, which support means are housed in the main structure (11) and can be moved from an operating processing position to a position for loading/unloading the at least one container. The door means (17) comprise movement means (22, 17, 74) which mechanically interact with the support means (22, 50) in order to move them from the operating processing position to the loading/unloading position as a result of selective opening of the door means.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 7, 2003Publication date: June 30, 2005Inventors: Guido Greco, Bruce Fifield

Publication number: 20050088910Abstract: A housing and support structure for mixers for fluid products comprises a main body (21, 48) having an opposed first and second portion (34, 50), joined to each other so as to define a housing space (22, 52) for a container of fluid products. The first portion (34, 50) has a mass different from the mass of the second portion (34, 50) such as to balance, in use, a non-balanced container of fluid products.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 27, 2004Publication date: April 28, 2005Inventors: Guido Greco, Gianfranco Beltrami

Patent number: 6092244Abstract: A locking grate for a floor sink includes a screen member having holes dimensioned to allow the passage of liquid but prevent the passage of solid waste and a mounting hole, a threaded member dimensioned to extend through the mounting hole, and a locking member which is adapted to be engaged by the threaded member. According to a presently preferred embodiment, the threaded member is a screw having a non-standard or atypical head which requires a non-standard or unusual screw driver. The locking member includes a tube which is orthogonally engaged by the screw and which has at least one rod slideably disposed therein. The tube and the rod are arranged such that when the screw engages the tube, the screw forces the rod to slide partially out of the tube. The end of the rod which extends out of the tube is preferably provided with a surface which frictionally engages the inner wall of the floor sink drain pipe.Type: GrantFiled: May 21, 1999Date of Patent: July 25, 2000Assignee: Perlucid CorporationInventors: William D.
