  • Publication number: 20240121325
Abstract: The warehouse control system (WCS) coordinates communication between communicating devices and systems. The WCS stores mappings of different message types that are transmitted between different components of a warehouse. The WCS accepts inbound messages from the components, parses the inbound messages, and handles the data accordingly. The WCS also transmits outbound messages to components of the warehouse. The WCS forms the outbound message according to protocols defined in the WCS. The WCS maps positions of each message to predefined data fields to define the message type. The mapping of the fields to positions of each message type defines the fields of the message for future message handling.

  • Patent number: 11459003
Abstract: A process for detecting a derailment of a rail vehicle having two or more rail vehicle parts and one or more articulations through which adjacent rail vehicle parts are rotatably connected with one another includes determining an angle of rotation between adjacent rail vehicle parts, and/or a quantity derived from the angle of rotation. The process further includes comparing the angle of rotation or the derived quantity with at least one reference value or threshold, or with at least one reference value range or threshold range. A test criterion indicating whether or not there is a derailment is defined based on the at least one reference value or threshold, and/or an expected relationship of multiple angles of rotation, and/or an expected relationship of the multiple quantities derived from the angles of rotation, relative to one another. The method further includes determining whether or not the test criterion is met.

  • Patent number: 11312853
Abstract: The present invention relates to a polymodal polymer composition having homogeneous as well as heterogeneous particles, formed by radical emulsion polymerization of primarily acrylic acid ester monomers of C2 to C10 alcohols, wherein the homopolymers of these monomers have Tg's below ?15° C. The polymer composition is composed of at least two different populations of particles, differing in mean particle size value by at least a factor of 2. Thus, the two different populations of polymer particles in the polymer composition differ with respect to size and monomer composition of the particles. The polymer composition has excellent adhesion on low surface energy substrates such as low density and high density polyethylene and has enhanced resistance to water whitening which is a required specification in filmic label applications.

  • Publication number: 20190375867
Abstract: Formaldehyde-free aqueous polymeric dispersions contain a triplet of functional monomers that, when submitted to heating, can crosslink, resulting in polymeric films without releasing formaldehyde or other hazardous materials, thus resulting in compositions with improved water and solvent resistance and bonding strength, suitable for applications such as textile coating, nonwovens, fiber bonding, paper coatings and impregnation, curable adhesives, industrial coatings and finishes and related applications. This triplet of functional monomers uses, at least, one amino- (or amido-), one epoxy- or hydroxy-, and one acid-functional monomer combination.
