Patent number: 7284578Abstract: In an apparatus for filling a blister band with products, two or more work units are carried by relative carriages and have hoppers fed with different kinds of products. The products are then supplied to discharge conduits leading to the blisters of the band. Strips are fastened to lower ends of the discharge conduits and match with the upper surface of the blister band. The carriages are operated in a to-and-fro motion, so as to center, the lower ends of the discharge conduits with respect to the blisters, and to maintain this centering for a prefixed time. The holes remain coaxial to the lower ends of the conduits, situated above, to allow passage of one product from each discharge conduit to a blister.Type: GrantFiled: August 11, 2005Date of Patent: October 23, 2007Assignee: Marchesini Group S.p.A.Inventor: Guiseppe Monti

Patent number: 7204066Abstract: Device for screwing caps onto bottles and similar containers includes a work station, which supports a device for gripping the caps and which moves toward and away from the bottles, carried by a relative feeding line. An actuator, associated to the work station, drives the gripping device into rotation, so as to screw the caps onto the corresponding open heads of the bottles. A fricton device for coupling of the actuator with the gripping device, is operated in step relation with the positioning of the caps close to the open heads of the bottles.Type: GrantFiled: May 19, 2005Date of Patent: April 17, 2007Assignee: Tonazzi Vasquali S.r.l.Inventor: Guiseppe Monti

Patent number: 7191892Abstract: In an apparatus for transferring products from a first conveying line to a second line conveying line operated stepwise in a feeding direction and particularly for feeding a boxing machine a plurality of compartments are aligned along the feeding direction. Each compartment has a bottom and a pair of lateral boards. The compartments receive products released by a manipulator and taken from the first conveying line. An actuator rotates the compartments from a loading configuration for receiving the products, to an overturned configuration, in which the compartments face corresponding, dwelling seats of the second, feeding line. A holding element closes the upper part of the compartments, moving from the loading configuration up to the overturned configuration. A pusher moves into the compartments in the overturned configuration, to push the products into the facing seats of the second, feeding line.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2005Date of Patent: March 20, 2007Assignee: Marchesini Group S.p.A.Inventor: Guiseppe Monti

Patent number: 7134255Abstract: In a machine for filling and closing tubes, an endless conveying line has equispaced gripping members for loading tubes with vertical axis and with open bottoms turned upwards. The line is operated stepwise for transferring the tubes, one by one, to subsequent stations arranged along the line for carrying out operations of cleaning inside the tubes, orienting outer prints, filling the tubes with measured quantities of product, closing the bottoms, applying codes, and possibly trimming the tubes. The machine includes also a station for expulsion of rejected tubes and a download station for transferring good tubes to an outlet line. Configuration of the line and arrangement of the stations are designed to reduce dimensions, simplify construction and limit costs of the machine, at the same time ensuring high reliability.Type: GrantFiled: January 28, 2005Date of Patent: November 14, 2006Assignee: Tonazzi Vasquall S.r.L.Inventor: Guiseppe Monti

Patent number: 7128100Abstract: In an apparatus for feeding articles to a blister band, a box-like container, situated close to said band, is fed by a delivering device with a quantity of articles such as to allow accumulation of the articles on the surface of the band. A brush strikes and pushes the articles in a direction opposite to a forwarding direction of the band. A sensor, downstream of the brush, detects the thickness of the layer of articles on the band and interacts with the brush to maintain substantially constant the thickness of the layer of articles.Type: GrantFiled: April 19, 2005Date of Patent: October 31, 2006Assignee: Marchesini Group S.p.A.Inventor: Guiseppe Monti

Publication number: 20050229540Abstract: Device for screwing caps onto bottles and similar containers includes a work station, which supports means for gripping the caps and which moves toward and away from the bottles, carried by a relative feeding line. Actuator means, associated to the work station, drive the gripping means into rotation, so as to screw the caps onto the corresponding open heads of the bottles. Working means for friction coupling of the actuator means with the gripping means, are operated in step relation with the positioning of the caps close to the open heads of the bottles.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 19, 2005Publication date: October 20, 2005Applicant: Tonazzi S.r.l.Inventor: Guiseppe Monti

Publication number: 20050219946Abstract: In a device for batching powder materials, an Archimedean screw batching member is arranged inside a batching channel, coaxial with the batching channel and operated to rotate by a relative actuator, to convey batched quantities of a powder material to an outlet section of the batching channel. An additional Archimedean screw batching member is arranged inside a feeding channel and id coaxial with the feeding channel. The feeding channel is set in communication with the batching channel. The additional Archimedean screw batching member is operated to rotate, by a relative actuator, to feed the powder material to the batching member.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 28, 2005Publication date: October 6, 2005Applicant: Marchesini Group S.p.A.Inventor: Guiseppe Monti
