  • Publication number: 20160164959
Abstract: Disclosed are a code-based device access method and a user device for a code-based device access. A PN code is generated by combining a general subscription phone number and/or a particular number based on a conventional phone number system with a special number existing in a dial pad. An exemplary system for the code-based device access method and the user device for the code-based device access may include a PN code server including a communication server, a registration server or a notification server, a network, a mobile device, and a site server. The mobile device may include an application which provides a PN code service, and the application may include a module which can communicate with the PN code server, another mobile device and/or the site server through the network.

  • Patent number: 8305298
Abstract: A plasma display apparatus and method of driving the plasma display apparatus are described. The plasma display apparatus has a plasma display panel that has a first electrode, a second electrode, and a third electrode. The plasma display apparatus also includes a first driver, a second driver and a third driver. The first driver supplies to the first electrode a first signal that decreases gradually from a first voltage to a second voltage during a setdown period of a reset period. The third driver supplies to the third electrode a third signal that increases from a third voltage to a fourth voltage during the setdown period of the reset period.

  • Patent number: 7768477
Abstract: In a plasma display apparatus and a method of driving the same which is driven by a driving signal having a reset period, an address period and a sustain period, a sustain pulse is applied during the sustain period, the sustain pulse including: an interval in which the sustain pulse rises from a ground voltage to a first voltage; an interval in which the first voltage is substantially constant for predetermined period of time; an interval in which the sustain pulse rises from the first voltage to a second voltage; and an interval in which the second voltage is substantially constant for a predetermined period of time. At least two discharges can be generated per a single sustain pulse by applying a sustain pulse rising and falling in two stages during one sustain period, and discharge efficiency and luminance can be improved by lengthening a light emission time by maintaining the light generated by a discharge for a predetermined time.

  • Patent number: 7642992
Abstract: The present invention relates to a plasma display apparatus, and more particularly, to a plasma display apparatus and driving method thereof, in which an afterimage erroneous discharge generated when the apparatus is driven can be prevented and damage to driving circuits can be prevented. The plasma display apparatus of the present invention comprises a plasma display panel in which a plurality of sustain electrode pairs comprising scan electrodes and sustain electrodes is formed, a driver for driving the sustain electrode pairs, and a driving pulse controller that controls the driver to sequentially apply first and second falling waveforms to the scan electrodes during a reset period, and controls the driver to apply a positive waveform whose voltage level is less than the voltage level of a sustain waveform to the sustain electrodes while the first falling waveform is applied. According to the present invention, an afterimage erroneous discharge can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 7053347
Abstract: A microwave oven, having a humidity sensor and a voltage detecting unit for detecting a change in an output voltage of the humidity sensor, includes: a control unit for receiving a compensated voltage according to a change in temperature supplied from the humidity sensor and a detected voltage supplied from the voltage detecting unit, and determining a cooking time based on a voltage difference between the detected voltage and the compensated voltage. With this configuration, an optimal cooking time based on a being cooked can be calculated by use of the humidity sensor, and the cooking time can be controlled in a stable manner relative to external noise or irregular changes in humidity.
