Abstract: An electronic device includes a display, a local wireless communication circuit, a memory, a payment application, and a processor. The memory is configured to store a financial application. The processor is configured to launch the financial application. The processor is also configured to output account information of a user and a graphic user interface (GUI) object associated with the account information on the display. The processor is also configured to launch the payment application in response to selecting the GUI object. The processor is also configured to transmit data of a card linked to the account information to an external device via the local wireless communication circuit.

Abstract: An electronic device and method for processing card operating information is provided. The electronic device includes a first memory which stores account information and card operating information, a second memory which stores payment required information, and a processor which receives the account information, transmits the account information to a first external device, and receives a response from the first external device. When the response indicates that the account information corresponds to the payment required information stored in the second memory, the processor receives, from the first external device, the card operating information corresponding to the payment required information and stores the received card operating information in the first memory.

Abstract: A method of displaying a caller ID in a WiMAX/GSM integrated support portable terminal is provided. When a service is requested from a portable terminal, a message is transmitted for confirming whether to perform a caller ID (CID) display service through a corresponding channel through which the service has been requested. If the CID display service is determined to be performed after the message is received through the channel through which the service has been requested, the corresponding inherent identification information of the portable terminal in an SMS for transmission, and a subscriber identification information of the corresponding portable terminal is confirmed through the received SMS. The inherent identification information included in the SMS is extracted and the extracted inherent identification information to the subscriber identification information is matched. The matched identification information stored and a caller ID service is registered for a subsequent identification purpose.

Abstract: A dual standby mobile device which allows access to at least two different types of communication networks and a communication method thereof are provided. The communication method includes performing a call with another mobile device by driving a first SIM, determining a reason for a call disconnection when the call is disconnected, performing a changeover to a second SIM when an unexpected error is the reason for the call disconnection, and reconnecting the call with the other mobile device by driving the second SIM.
