  • Patent number: 8661414
Abstract: The invention describes a method for testing the order management system. The order management system includes a set of sub-systems. An order life cycle is defined for the order management system, based on the set of sub-systems. The order management system is capable of processing one or more orders. A script is selected from a plurality of scripts, which are developed for testing the order management system, based on a test scenario. The script is modified if the order management system has undergone a modification. Thereafter, the script is used for testing the order management system. Each sub-system of the set of sub-systems is tested, based on the order life cycle and the script, to identify an error in a first sub-system of the set of sub-systems. An output is generated, based on the error identified in the first sub-system.
