    Abstract: A metering pump made of plastic for the metered dispensing of liquid and/or pasty media from a bottle-like container, can-like container or tube-like container with a follower piston. A pump chamber delivering the medium is connected via a suction valve with the container and has as the pumping member an elastic bellows that forms the pump chamber and is arranged between a dimensionally stable lower housing part and a likewise dimensionally stable upper housing part that is telescopically movable in relation thereto. The upper housing part has the discharge opening, which is connected via a discharge channel and a discharge valve with the pump chamber. The bellows has an upper ring collar sealingly surrounding a ring wall of the upper housing part. The ring wall is provided with a displacement piston that has a smaller diameter and protrudes into the bellows.

    Abstract: An automatic closure for elastically deformable, tube-like or bottle-like containers of pasty or liquid media has a dispensing opening (5), which is arranged in a front wall (3) of a hood cover and can be closed by an axially movable closing member (8). The closing member (8) is part of an elastic membrane wall (9) of an elastic, hood-like hollow body (10). This hollow body surrounds a ring wall (12) of a chamber (15), which is closed by a bottom (13), through which the medium flows and is provided with a ventilating channel. To make possible a sufficient suction ventilation of the container in a simple manner, the inner ring wall is surrounded by a second ring wall, which forms an annular groove (17) with the inner ring wall (12). The annular groove (17) has at least one axial ventilating opening (30, 31), which connects the ventilating channel (28,29) to the hollow space (27) surrounded by the second ring wall (16).

The follower piston is tightly in contact over the entire circumference of the inner surface of the containers. In order to optimally utilize the hollow space in the case of an elliptical outer cross-sectional shape, and to guarantee a tight contact between the follower piston and the inner surfaces of the container walls, the two containers 2, 3 form a common outer jacket 10, which has an elliptical cross-sectional shape, and the containers are separated from one another by two middle walls 14, 15, which are arched against each other symmetrically to the short axis 12 of the ellipse.
