Abstract: A water-tight sealing system for a bathtub door may include, but is not limited to, an opening in a side of a bathtub. A door may be coupled to the bathtub and configured to close the bathtub side. Magnetic elements may be positioned on one of a periphery of a door and a periphery of the bathtub side and corresponding metallic elements may be positioned on the other of the periphery of the door and the periphery of the bathtub side. One or more compressible seals may be positioned along the periphery of the door and against the magnetic elements such that the compressible seals are compressed between the magnetic elements and the corresponding metallic elements when the door is closed. Magnetic attraction between the magnetic elements and the corresponding metallic elements may compress the compressible seals to form a water-tight seal between the door and the bathtub.
