Abstract: A configuration for the removal, piece by piece, of stored products has an outwardly totally closed storage area, a removal area that is accessible from the outside, a passage connecting the storage area and the removal area, and a manipulator. The manipulator brings individual products from the storage area through the passage into the removal area.

Abstract: The additive described essentially comprises a selected alkoxylated fatty amine or fatty amine derivative and a special metal salt compound, preferably a metal soap. This additive for heavy oils effects a good emulsification or dispersion of asphaltenes and other higher-molecular weight compounds and, in addition, inter alia, increased storage stability, improved pumpability due to decreased viscosity of the oil and longer service lives of the filter systems. In addition, it also effects enhanced combustion of the heavy oils. The effective amount of additive in these oils is 2 to 2000 ppm. The oils described are suitable, in particular, as furnace fuel for industrial plants and power stations and as engine fuel for marine engines.

The filter covers the clear cross section of the exit opening of a circulation channel.

Abstract: The ester quat solutions described contain at least 70% by weight, based on the solution, of at least one ester quat compound of the formula below ##STR1## where RCO is an aliphatic acyl radical having 6 to 22 carbon atoms, R' is H or a C.sub.1 to C.sub.22 alkyl radical, R.sup.1 is a methyl or ethyl radical, R.sup.2 is a C.sub.1 to C.sub.8 alkyl radical, R.sup.3 is a C.sub.3 to C.sub.8 alkyl radical and X.sup.- is a halide, alkyl carbonate, alkyl phosphate or an alkyl sulfate, where alkyl is methyl or ethyl. They are prepared by quaternizing corresponding carboxylic acid alkanolamine esters with, preferably, methyl chloride or dimethyl sulfate. The aqueous solutions described are advantageously suitable for preparing laundry detergents and cosmetics.

Abstract: The concentrate contains an ammonium compound which carries a longer-chain and a medium-chain substituent on the nitrogen atom, and both the other substituents are either hydrogen atoms, methyl, ethyl or .beta.-hydroxyethyl. The medium-chain substituent should have half the carbon atoms of the longer-chain substituent or one or two carbon atoms less than half. Instead of an ammonium compound, a mixture of several ammonium compounds can also be present which on average corresponds to the formula described above. In addition to water, the concentrate can also contain 0 to 10% by weight, relative to the total amount of the ammonium compounds, of one or more compounds which are selected from amongst alkali metal salts, ammonium salts, aliphatic amines, alkyl or alkenyl esters or olefins having 6 to 20 carbon atoms. The concentrates have a low viscosity, which makes them easily pumpable, transportable and meterable.

Abstract: A drive unit for a rotary tool, which unit includes a housing, a drive shaft mounted in the housing for transferring rotational drive force from a rotary drive to the tool, and a clamping mechanism mounted in the housing for generating a tool clamping movement along the axis of the drive shaft. The drive shaft is a hollow shaft, the clamping mechanism includes a pull rod mounted in the drive shaft and coaxially positioned relative to the drive shaft, the pull rod being mounted to be axially displaceable and fixed against rotation relative to the drive shaft, and the unit further includes a blocking device operative between the drive shaft and the housing for permitting the drive shaft to rotate relative to the housing only when the drive shaft is coupled to the rotary drive.

Abstract: A composite tool unit comprising a tool shank, a tool head a chuck, a drawbar which is slidable in the longitudinal direction of the tool shank and a pulling shank which projects from the tool head. The drawbar and pulling shank are engaged around by the chuck, which is disposed in the tool shank axially to slide between an opening position and a closure position. The tool shank comprises an inner conical face which tapers in the direction of the drawbar and co-operates with outer conical segments disposed on the clamping jaws. The zones of the drawbar 8 and pulling shank 8 of the tool head engaged around by the chuck have respective projections.

Abstract: Hot working roller reinforced with a working jacket of hard metal or the like, the jacket being prestressed in the direction of the roller axis by a clamping force acting via clamping rings presenting clamping surfaces inclined with respect to the roller axis, with the jacket being separated from the roller body by an annular gap having a height such that during use of the roller the outer surface of the roller body remains out of contact with the inner surface of the jacket over the entire intended operating temperature range of the roller, and the clamping surfaces being inclined in a direction such that the clamping force acting on the jacket presents a radially outwardly directed component.
