Abstract: An energy control device comprises a switching device and a control system. The switching device is provided with a switch contact adjacent to a counter-contact on one side and to a counter-stopper on the other side thereof. The counter-stopper is arranged on an springy arm which is made of a round steel spring-wire and has on one end thereof a spiral spring segment. The spiral spring segment makes it possible to mount the springy arm on an elongated supporting rod in such a way that it is displaceable in a longitudinal direction, thereby displaying a certain clearance. The springy arm is applied with the other end thereof to an eccentric disc, thereby making it possible to modify the position and consequently place of the counter-stopper.

Abstract: An electrical switching device includes a switching device socket and terminals. The device also includes a snap-action switch with at least one catch spring. The catch spring carries at least one switching contact stud. The snap-action switch is trippable by a thermobimetal. For thermal influencing the thermobimetal, a heating device with a heating resistor mounted on a metal support is provided. The metal support can be made from a steel plate carrying an electrically insulating layer made from glass. An extensive heating resistor is provided on the insulating glass.

Abstract: A switching and control apparatus, comprising: a stepping switch with a rotatable controller barrel; a regulator having a rotatable setting shaft drivable by the controller barrel; a clutch, including a regulator-side coupling member fixed for rotation together with the setting shaft, effective over a predetermined range of angular regulator settings, in which the controller barrel drives the setting shaft, and ineffective at angular settings beyond the predetermined range, during which the setting shaft is not driven by the controller barrel; and, a spring-loaded arrangement for restraining rotational movement of the regulator-side coupling member during movement of the controller barrel beyond the predetermined angular range.
