    Abstract: A first access network device receives an addition request message from a second access network device. The first access network device determines a third uplink carrier used by a terminal to send a preamble to the first access network device, and sends an addition request acknowledgement message to the second access network device. The addition request acknowledgement message includes carrier indication information. The carrier indication information indicates the third uplink carrier. The third uplink carrier is at least one of the first uplink carrier or a second uplink carrier. The second uplink carrier and the first uplink carrier belong to a same cell of the first access network device and the second uplink carrier is a supplementary uplink carrier.

    Abstract: A video service transmission method and apparatus in the field of communications technologies are provided, where data in a video data frame can be split into at least two substreams based on a mapping relationship between data importance and a substream. The data of the at least two substreams may then be mapped, based on port numbers corresponding to the at least two substreams, to bearers corresponding to the at least two substreams, for transmission. Because a network can use different processing methods for data on different bearers, reliable transmission of video data frames of high importance can be ensured with priority by using the video service transmission method and apparatus, so as to improve service experience of video users in a scenario of constrained transmission resources.

In a data transmission method, a base station allocates, to a terminal, some of time domain symbols that are used for data transmission and that are in a scheduling period of the terminal, and the terminal performs data transmission based on the allocated time domain symbols. According to the method, time domain symbols in the scheduling period that originally belong to the terminal are punctured, a resource waste caused when the terminal occupies all time domain symbols that are used for data transmission and that are in the scheduling period during scheduling each time can be avoided, so that radio resources can be flexibly allocated based on requirements on delays and bandwidth, thereby improving resource utilization.
