To make the extension and retraction of the jib easier, it is proposed that the jib support be designed with at least four guide and locking rollers, of which at least two engage in a left-handed track and two in a right-handed track of the jib.

Abstract: The invention relates to an extension arm (6) that is arranged on a carrier (4) in such a way that it can pivot about the axis (18) thereof by means of a steering rod (20), and can be blocked in the pivoted position. Said steering rod (20) is arranged on a sleeve (44) that can be pivoted about the extension arm (6), can engage with the extension arm in different rotational angle positions, and can be directly or indirectly blocked on the carrier. According to the invention, a first coupling part (40) fixed to the extension arm (6) co-operates with a second coupling part (42) arranged on the sleeve (44) and acting in the axial direction. Furthermore, the steering rod (20) comprises a supporting element (56) that co-operates with a counterpart (58) arranged on the extension arm (6), in order to displace the second coupling part (42) in the axial direction by means of the steering rod (20). Abstract: Disclosed is a winch, particularly for driving an umbrella, comprising a rope drum (48a) which is driven by a hand crank (24) and winds up a rope (28). Functioning of the winch is improved by the fact that said winch is provided with a feeler (100) which responds to the direction of entry of the rope when the rope (28) is fully unwound or to the winding of the rope onto the rope drum (48a). Said feeler (100) is connected to a locking member (102) that cooperates with a stop (104) if winding occurs in the wrong direction, said stop (104) being assigned to the rope drum (48a) and locking the wrong winding direction.

Abstract: A suspension umbrella has a crown connected to a holder by means of a ball joint. For arresting the ball joint in different positions the ball joint is equipped with an arresting body which is actuatable by means of a screw spindle arranged coaxially to the umbrella axis. A securing device includes a securing screw which is threaded into the crown through a bore in a sleeve in order to prevent relative movement between the crown and the sleeve or ball joint.
