Abstract: A supporting structure for supporting a bicycle by grasping onto a bar such as the handlebar of the bicycle or its cross bar so as to apply minimal stress to the spokes of the wheel. The structure comprises a base adapted to be secured to a wall surface, a sleeve pivotally connected to said base, a shaft slidably engaged in the sleeve and adapted to translate between a retracted position and an extracted position while also being able to rotate about its longitudinal axis, a gripping means fixed to a free end of the shaft means for gripping onto the bicycle and supporting the latter.
