Abstract: A method comprising: receiving a set of images associated with each of a plurality of plants in a plantation; estimating, with respect to each of the plants, based, at least in part, on the set of images associated with the plant, the following data: (i) a count of fruits detected in the plant, and (ii) one or more features associated with the plant; at a training stage, training a machine learning model on a training set comprising, with respect to a subset of the plurality of plants: (iii) the data, and (iv) labels indicating an actual a number of fruits in each of the plants in the subset; and at an inference stage, applying the trained machine learning model to the data associated with the rest of the plurality of plants, to predict a number of fruits in each of the rest of the plurality of plants.

Abstract: A method comprising: receiving a source image and a target image, each depicting a dense recurring pattern comprising an array of objects arranged in close proximity to one another; applying a trained machine learning classifier to obtain a classification of each pixel in said source image and said target image into one of at least two classes; determining a pixel-level transformation between said classified source and target images, based, at least in part, on a set of transformation parameters; training a neural network to optimize said set of transformation parameters, based, at least in part, on minimizing a loss function which calculates a weighted sum of per-pixel matches between said classified source and target images; and applying said optimized set of transformation parameters to said target image. to align said target image with said source image.

Abstract: Method and apparatus to minimize computation in real time photo realistic rendering for efficiently creating, in real time, personalized videos that include personal images and personal text and targeted advertising arts according to viewer profiles. The method and apparatus for automatically and photo realistically embedding artwork onto video content generally includes a container implanter that creates generic 2D containers for an image artwork, which includes instructions for embedding the artwork, automatically and photo realistically, onto video content, and a renderer or network renderer that automatically and photo realistically embeds the artwork onto video content.

Then, an artwork provider experiments with sending artwork for each container and viewing that artwork placed within the video, until the current artwork is approved for placement. Finally, a final version, which includes the selected artwork embedded within the original video, is rendered, adapted for a distributor, and the end product is distributed and viewed conventionally. The container implantation is relatively labor intensive and therefore expensive, but costs are subsequently distributed over many sessions of different artwork placements within the same container. Typical applications are in advertising, art and fun.
