  • Patent number: 8864480
Abstract: An oil recovery member, a motor mechanism, and a compressor using the same are provided. The oil recovery member is provided to prevent oil rising along a rotational shaft from being discharged with refrigerant, and relative sizes, such as installation positions between the oil recovery member and components adjacent thereto, are restricted. As the oil flow is guided through a passage defined between the oil recovery member and the adjacent components, the oil may be efficiently recovered, so that, an oil circulation rate of a freezing cycle may be reduced and compression efficiency improved.

  • Patent number: 8450901
Abstract: A motor for a compressor and a hermetic compressor having the same are provided. An aluminum coil is used in the motor for the compressor, and sectional areas of main and sub slot portions and numbers thereof are adjusted to be suitable for usage conditions, whereby fabricating costs of the motor for the compressor and the hermetic compressor may drastically be reduced. Also, as the aluminum coil of the motor for the compressor is coupled to a lead wire in a welding manner, breaking of the aluminum coil, which may occur when coupling the aluminum coil to the lead wire, may be prevented, resulting in improvement of assembly reliability of the reciprocating compressor.

  • Patent number: 8441165
Abstract: Disclosed are a motor for a compressor and a hermetic compressor having the same. An aluminum coil cheaper than a copper coil is used in the motor for the compressor, a ratio between the aluminum coil and a stator core is set, and sectional areas of main and sub slot portions of the stator core and the numbers thereof are adjusted to be suitable for usage conditions, whereby fabricating costs of the motor for the compressor and the hermetic compressor can drastically be reduced and efficiencies thereof can be improved.

  • Patent number: 8390167
Abstract: Disclosed are a motor for a compressor and a hermetic compressor having the same. An aluminum coil cheaper than a copper coil is used in the motor for the compressor, to thusly reduce a fabricating cost. Also, a ratio of a height of end coil of a coil to an inner diameter of a stator is appropriately designed or a ratio of an entire area of slot portions to the inner diameter of the stator is appropriately designed, and simultaneously a ratio of the inner diameter of the stator to a width of the tooth portion is appropriately designed, so as to previously prevent a deterioration of damping effect, increase in noise, lowering of efficiency, reduction of driven torque, all caused due to the use of the aluminum coil.
