    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a monoclonal antibody which binds to porcine CD163 for use in the treatment or prevention of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) virus infection in a pig. Preferred antibodies comprise an antigen binding domain which binds to porcine CD163, said antigen binding domain comprising at least one heavy chain variable region which comprises three complementarity determining regions (CDRs), wherein said heavy chain variable region comprises a variable heavy (VH) CDR2 that comprises the amino acid sequence XYAD or XYAE or XYAN, in which X can be any amino acid.     Abstract: When selamectin is administered to a female animal over a period commencing during pregnancy and ending during lactation, endo- and ecto-parasite infestations are either treated or prevented in that animal's offspring, avoiding the problems of treating the offspring directly. This leads to improvements in the compliance of dosing and hence the efficacy of treatment and reduces the number of doses to be administered leading to economic benefits and greater convenience.
