    Abstract: Methods, devices, systems, techniques, and computer program products are provided in which an eNB, within a wireless communications network, determining network coverage status relating to a cell served by it, where the eNB supports UE-to-Network relay for a remote UE using direct device-to-device communication between the remote UE and a relay UE connected to the serving cell. Based on a determination of network coverage status, at least one UE is initiated and selected to act as a relay UE. The radio interface link quality of the relay UE can be evaluated and the relay UE can be configured to send an indication of the radio interface link quality to the remote UE. Based on the determined network coverage status and selection of a relay UE, the remote UE is controlled by the eNB for the relay UE discovery and selection either directly or via the relay UE.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a fermentation process for improving the production level of a recombinant human collagen. The process comprises inoculating a sterilized fermentation medium with a Pichia yeast solution, then performing fermentation culturing for 14-18 hrs, adding methanol to induce the expression, upon which sodium pyruvate is added to the fermentation medium, wherein the amount of the sodium pyruvate added is 0.01-10 g/L. In the fermentation process of the present invention, the sodium pyruvate is added in the methanol-induced expression stage, so that the biosynthesis rate of the recombinant human collagen is improved; and a continuous feed-batch mode is adopted, so that the biosynthesis rate of the recombinant human collagen is further improved, and the fermentation time is shortened. Meanwhile, the expression level of the recombinant human collagen is increased, the fermentation level is increased by more than 20%, and the production cost is reduced.

A high-pass filter is applied to the signal to produce a high-frequency component signal. A rate of occurrence of signal spikes in the high-frequency component signal is determined. The high-frequency component signal is compared to a component signal threshold which is based on at least one known healthy component signal and at least one faulty component signal. The presence of intermittent open circuits caused by the sensor is detected based on the comparing and on the rate of occurrence of signal spikes.

The annular end cap with a toothed structure allows only a simple cutting process on raw material to be performed in order to obtain the annular end cap and the first toothed part formed at the outer edge thereof, thereby avoiding complex punching, spinning and similar processes, and saving production costs.
