Abstract: The present disclosure relates to method and system for downloading and playing a media file, a client, a server, and a storage medium. The client is configured to initiate a request for acquiring a media file to the server, the request including current network connection information of the client, receive download list information from the server, the download list information identifying an ordered list of fragments extracted from the media file by the server in accordance with the current network connection information of the client, initiate a request for acquiring fragments of the media file to the server, acquire the fragments of the media file returned by the server, and play the fragments of the media file according to the order of the fragments when receiving an instruction of playing the media file. The present disclosure can simply and quickly play a media file that is not downloaded completely.

Abstract: Systems, devices and methods are provided for testing a terminal application. For example, a test component is implanted into a source code program of a terminal application to be tested; one or more preset debugging codes are written into the source code program of the terminal application; one or more function addresses of the debugging codes in the source code program of the terminal application are acquired and registered; compiling and executing the source code program; an application test page is generated on a terminal user interface; and in response to a test execution instruction being triggered by a client on the application test page, the debugging codes is called via the function addresses in the test component to test the terminal application.

Abstract: A method for controlling game data communication between portable electronic devices includes receiving one or more performance parameters from multiple portable electronic devices as slave devices. The method also includes determining whether the portable electronic device satisfies performance criteria with respect to the multiple portable electronic devices. The method further includes, in accordance with a determination that the portable electronic device does not satisfy the performance criteria with respect to the multiple portable electronic devices: selecting one of the multiple portable electronic devices as a new master device; and transferring a master device status to the selected portable electronic device. The method includes, subsequent to transferring a master device status to the selected portable electronic device, communicating, as a slave device, with the selected portable electronic device.
