Abstract: A method and an apparatus for obtaining data, based on location information, are provided. The method includes receiving, from a user terminal, a first query request that is used to obtain object information, the first query request carrying location information of the user terminal, and querying, in response to a cache area being not empty, the cache area for hotspot data in an area range in which the location information of the user terminal is located, the hotspot data being information of an object included in the area range, and the hotspot data being cached in response to a frequency of query access occurring in the area range exceeding a predetermined threshold. The method further includes sending, to the user terminal, the hotspot data in the area range.

Abstract: A modified fertilizer structure and a process for making the structure are disclosed. The structure contains at least a first modified oil layer that coats the fertilizer particle. Additional layers may be added as necessary to include a modified fiber layer that coats the modified oil layer, a second and third modified oil layers, a second modified fiber layer, a layer of diatomaceous earth mineral particles and a superabsorbent layer. The structure may be constructed by placing fertilizer particles in a rotating drum, then adding the materials for each layer consecutively into the drum at appropriate conditions. The modified fertilizer structure is configured to gradually release the nutrients into the soil over a desired period of time.

The improved process results from carrying out the transesterification reaction in a substantially non-polar and water free environment. A polymer selected from a group of polymers shown to be effective in such an environment is added to the product mixture which greatly improves the rate of separation between the methyl ester and the glycerin and reduces the number of required steps to accomplish the separation.

Abstract: Disclosed is a process for making an animal blood adhesive and the resulting adhesive composition. The adhesive is made by adding to fresh, whole animal blood, without dewatering the blood, an anticoagulant and a preservative. Lime is then added to the anticoagulated, preserved blood, and the pH is adjusted to between about 9 and about 11. A curing agent (such as potassium silicate, sodium silicate and aluminum dihydrogen phosphate) and ammonia are then added to the mixture to yield the animal blood adhesive. The adhesive can be made from any animal blood, such as bovine, porcine, or avian blood. The resulting adhesive is useful for adhering wood-based products, such as plywood and particle board.

Abstract: A process for manufacturing a binder from a waste water effluent is disclosed. A method for recovering the protein used in the manufacture of the binder comprises adding an agglomerating agent to the waste effluent stream, precipitating the protein and separating the water from the protein. The steps for manufacturing the binder from the protein include hydrolyzing the protein, mixing an adhesive polymer with the protein and curing the protein.

Abstract: A process for producing biodiesel is disclosed. An agglomerating polymer is added to the product mixture which greatly improves the rate of separation between the methyl ester and the glycerin.
