Abstract: A display device includes a display; an input device configured to receive a user input; a first communication circuit configured to receive first content according to the user input in a first time slot and receive second content associated with the first content; and a processor configured to, when the second content is received, assign a virtual channel number to the second content. The first content is content scheduled to broadcast in a first time slot of the first channel and is broadcast in the first time slot. Wherein the second content is content scheduled to broadcast in a second time slot before the first time slot and is extended and broadcast to at least a portion of the first time slot.
