Abstract: A stereoscopic image display apparatus according to an embodiment includes: a display device including a display panel having a display screen formed of pixels arranged in a matrix form, and an optical plate which controls light rays emitted from pixels on the display panel; a memory which stores a test pattern having a plurality of multiple parallax images, a different multiple parallax image depending upon a viewing position being visible to a viewer, a multiple parallax image visible from an undesirable viewing position being marked with a symbol or message to urge the viewer to move to a better viewing position; and an image display control unit which exercises control to display the test pattern on the display panel.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a key management apparatus comprises a decrypting module configured to read a first media unique key and an encrypted content key corresponding to a selected content from a first information storage medium and to decrypt the encrypted content key with the first media unique key in order to obtain a content key in a plain version, an encryption module configured to read a second media unique key from a second information storage medium and to encrypt the content key in the plain version with the second media unique key in order to obtain an encrypted content key for the second medium, and a write module configured to write the encrypted content key for the second medium to a user data area of the second medium.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, there is provided an electronic apparatus adapted to execute wireless communication with another device. The apparatus includes a module that executes the wireless communication, and a driver that causes the module to execute a scan process for detecting a device existing around the electronic apparatus by broadcasting a probe request packet and receiving a probe response packet corresponding to the probe request packet, thereby generating a device list of detected devices. The module further receives a probe request packet broadcasted from a device other than the electronic apparatus during the scan process, and the driver acquires information included in the probe request packet and adds the device to the device list.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a controller which performs communications with a module, executes procedures for initializing the module in response to input of an insertion signal, and stops the communications with the module in response to input of an extraction signal, a power supply which applies a drive voltage to the module in response to input of a power-on command and stops applying the drive voltage to the module in response to input of a power-off command, command supplying section which supplies power-on command to the power supply when the user selects an “on” item and supplies the power-off command to the power supply when the user selects an “off” item, and signal supplying section which supplies the insertion signal to the controller when the user selects the “on” item supplies the extraction signal to the controller when the user selects the “off” item.

Abstract: A data transmission apparatus for transmitting data comprising a plurality of objects having respective priority, comprises an error-correction coding section for selecting an error-correction coding method for each of the plurality of objects based on the priority of each of the plurality of objects and error-correction coding of each of the plurality of objects using the selected error-correction coding method. Therefore, it is possible to effectively use the resources, maintain the real-time transmission of data, and prevent degradation of transmitted data by changing the level of the error-correction according to the priority of object, and performing the error-correction coding for the objects according to the priority.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system for transmitting audio data from a transmitter to a receiver in radio data communication. On detecting a non-audio data area of a predetermined amount of data, a non-audio detection unit included in the transmitter notifies a communication control unit of the detection. The communication control unit disconnects the radio communication connection with the receiver for a period corresponding to the non-audio period (non-audio data area). When the non-audio data area disappears from the radio data, the communication control unit re-establishes the radio communication connection.
