  • Patent number: 4133755
Abstract: As an agent for removing heavy metals such as mercury from waste waters containing the same, a composition and granule based on the composition are provided. Also a method for preparing the granule is provided. The composition consists mainly of a dithiocarbamate bond-containing low molecular weight compound, amorphous silica and active carbon powder. The granule consists mainly of said composition and a vinyl acetate polymer resin as a binder. The method is carried out by kneading and extruding the composition of the granule together with a clay as an excipient.
