    Abstract: A system and method for using an application program on a mobile device for connecting two external Wi-Fi devices. An application program on the mobile device will search for all Wi-Fi devices in range and show them as icons on a user interface on the mobile device. If the user wants a first wireless device (such as a scanner) to build a connection with a second wireless device (such as a Point of Sale device), the user just has to drag an icon of the first device and drop it on an icon of the second device to have them build a connection.
