  • Publication number: 20090209656
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for disinfection or sanitation of different material, especially sensitive material, such as chromatographic media with various sensitive ligands. The invention also relates to a composition for use in such a method. The method for disinfection/sanitation, comprises exposing the material to be treated to a solution comprising 5-10% benzyl alcohol and 10-30% C2-3 alcohol.

  • Publication number: 20070213513
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of isolating a target compound from other components of a liquid, which method comprises at least two chromatographic steps, in any sequence of order, wherein the mobile phase is contacted with an affinity chromatography matrix and/or an ion-exchange chromatography matrix and/or a hydrophobic interaction chromatography matrix, wherein the contacting with at least one of the matrices takes place in the presence of at least one non-ionic polyether; and obtaining the target compound(s) in a separate fraction from the last chromatographic step. In the most preferred embodiment, the non-ionic polyether is poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG).
