  • Publication number: 20140015850
Abstract: A color transformation method and apparatus are provided for a person with a color vision defect. A color vision characteristic of a user is determined by receiving at least one of a kind of color vision defect and a degree of color vision defect selected by the user via a preset user color vision characteristic input menu. A preset basic hue table of a terminal is transformed according to the color vision characteristic of the user and transforming colors of a video to be displayed by applying the transformed basic hue table.

  • Patent number: 7901916
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing hydrogen by batch process capable of replacing the existing complex continuous organic waste treatment system by using pretreated organic waste not only as a substrate but also an inoculum. According to the present invention, the existing complex continuous process can be changed into a simple batch process, thereby reducing the installment costs and operational costs. It is possible to obtain economic operation because a long initial start-up period is not required.

  • Patent number: 6352643
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for the treatment of wastewater. One embodiment includes an anaerobic reactor and aerobic reactor. A terminal settling tank includes an upflow anaerobic reactor comprising an inlet mounted at the external lowest region of the anaerobic reactor. An introducing mechanism is directly connected to the inlet and located at the lower region in the anaerobic reactor and has a perforated drain pipe therein. A mixer is provided at the main shaft. A discharge is provided for allowing reaction water, which contains some portion of sludge generate by the mixer, to flow into the aerobic reactor. A sludge-accumulator is provided for collecting the sludge, which is settled by gravity during the reaction and produced by the mixer, to the center of the anaerobic reactor.

  • Patent number: 5254254
Abstract: An improvement in the biological method for treating wastewater is provided. The method is featured by adding to the reactor an amount of floating porous biomass carrier which can be mixed thoroughly with the wastewater to be treated. By the utilization of the carrier, the microorganisms can be retained in the reactor in a high concentration and the mass transfer can be adjusted so that various phases of microorganisms are provided within the reactor. The method is also characterized in that the reactor is operated under aerobic, anoxic and/or anaerobic conditions which are sequentially provided in an appropriate order depending on the type of pollutant to be treated. The method can remove organic substances, and nitrous and phosphorus materials effectively in a single reactor, and reduce the volume of the resultant sludge and the capital investment greatly as compared with the prior art methods.
