  • Publication number: 20070045579
Abstract: A fluid operated position regulator comprises a servo means, arranged in a regulator housing and by which a supply connection, a venting connection and a power connection can be placed in circuit in an adjustable manner. To predetermine or set its position the servo means possesses two mutually oppositely orientated fluid actuating faces of equal size, which respectively delimit a control chamber. The two control chambers are connected by way of an intermediately placed choke means with a common control pressure connection. Downstream from the two choke means each control chamber is connected with a venting connection. A control valve means can control the two venting connections and in particular simultaneously close them.

  • Patent number: 6962167
Abstract: A choke valve having a coarse setting choke means and a fine setting choke means placed in parallel to it. The coarse setting choke means is able to be switched over in stages between different degrees of choking with different choke cross sections. The fine setting choke means renders possible a stepless adjustment of its choke cross section.

  • Patent number: 6916192
Abstract: A control device having a base which is provided with one or more component mounting areas. On each component mounting area there is a first electrical central interface connected with an internal electrical bus. On each component mounting area an electrical connection module or an electrically controlled fluid control module may be selectively mounted, which respectively has a second central interface complementary to the first electrical central interface. The fluid control module is provided with a valve means, which is controlled by signals supplied by means of the internal electrical bus. The connection modules are provided with inputs and/or outputs for the connection of electrical cables.

  • Patent number: 6581638
Abstract: A piezo valve having a flexural transducer unit which includes two flexural transducers adapted to be deflected in opposite directions. The flexural transducers are fixedly joined together at one terminal part of the flexural transducer unit with the formation of a common bearing section. The flexural transducer unit is pivotally mounted in relation to the housing. At least one flexural transducer serves for the control of a valve opening associated with it, the other flexural transducer being able to be biased by the application of a drive voltage toward a support face arranged in a deflection path in order to for instance to increase the displacement path of the other flexural transducer.

  • Patent number: 6173744
Abstract: A piezoelectric bending element is sealingly insertable into a chamber in a housing and controls with its free end at least one sealing seat corresponding to an applied control current. The bending element has a covering made of partially elastic insulating material and which also seals off the chamber at the proximal end. The bending element is electrically insulated and sealed off against the medium to be controlled, and electrical contacts lie outside of the working area of the valve.
