  • Publication number: 20070284392
Abstract: This device (1) comprises a largely tubular base (3), which is adapted for being joined to the outer face of the neck (21) and which internally delimits a through hole (323) provided for opening into the receptacle, and a cap (4) that is provided as a single piece with the base (3) by at least one articulation strip of the cap that enables the cap to be displaced relative to the base between closed position and an open position. In order to limit the infiltration of a sterilizing liquid into the device when sterilizing the latter while having a device that is simple to mold and assemble, a flow vent (6) is provided for being placed and hermetically immobilized in the hole (323) of the base (3), this vent keeping the contact zones (613, 661, 663) tight with the cap (4) in a closed position and being lengthened, on the side to be turned toward the receptacle, by a sealing lip (64) that rests against the inner face of the neck when the base is joined to the outer face of the neck.

  • Publication number: 20070251912
Abstract: The present invention relates to a closure system including a thermochromic tamper-control means of color that is irreversibly modified in the event of the temperature of the closure system being raised above a threshold temperature, said closure system comprising a polymer matrix having incorporated therein at least one thermochromic pigment of color that is irreversibly modified after said closure system has been exposed to a temperature close to or above a threshold temperature. The invention also relates to a method of preparing a thermochromic closure system, and to receptacles provided with said system.

  • Publication number: 20070215570
Abstract: The device comprises a removable cap (20) for closing the neck of a receptacle (3), and a peelable membrane for hermetically covering the lip of the neck. In order to guarantee good sealing of the receptacle when it is reclosed with the cap, the peelable layer of the membrane is adapted to cover only an inner zone (61) of the lip (6) of the neck (3), the cap being provided internally with a skirt (24) for bearing in leaktight manner against an outer zone (62) of the lip that is distinct from the inner zone (61), and said skirt is plastically deformable between a generally cylindrical configuration and a flared configuration, the inside face of said skirt presenting a transmission surface (244) for transmitting a bearing force (F2) associated essentially with co-operation between the skirt in its flared configuration and the lip of the neck.

  • Patent number: 7244381
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for blow forming a container (1) from a parison (2) made of plastic. After heating, said container is preformed by a gas injected into the container (1, 2) at a low pressure of 5 bar and by expanding the inner volume of said container. The final shape of the container can then be achieved by igniting an inflammable gas injected into the container, whereby the combustion generates a higher blowing pressure, or by injecting an additional gas with a higher blowing pressure of approximately 40 bar into the container after pre-blowing. The invention aims at improving known blow forming methods in such a way that a barrier layer impervious to gases, aromatic substances or the like is produced on the inner side of the container without having to use big machines. To this end, a precursor gas is added to and mixed with the inflammable gas, the mixture is then ignited and a coating is formed on the inner surface of the container by the combustion.

  • Publication number: 20050211657
Abstract: This closure device comprises a removable closure for closing the neck of the container and a sealing piece adapted to be applied in tight abutment on the pouring edge of the neck by the closure. The sealing piece defines, on its side intended to be turned towards the pouring edge, a first surface for tight abutment on the pouring edge and, on the opposite side, a second surface for pressing abutment of the closure, the respective contact properties of these first and second bearing surfaces being adapted to provoke, upon application of an effort of pressure on the sealing piece by the closure, a rotational connection of the sealing piece and of the neck at the level of the first bearing surface and a sliding contact between the sealing piece and the closure at the level of the second bearing surface. The invention is more particularly applicable to the closure of containers made of glass or a similar fragile material.
