  • Publication number: 20240158325
Abstract: A process for recovering isoprenol essentially free of formaldehyde from a stream of crude isoprenol containing isoprenol, water and formaldehyde, the process comprising subjecting the stream of crude isoprenol or an isoprenol containing fraction thereof to distillation in a low-boiler separation tower operated at a pressure of 2.5 bara or higher to obtain a distillate stream containing aqueous formaldehyde and a bottoms stream containing isoprenol. The process of the invention allows for obtaining isoprenol essentially free of formaldehyde. Further provided is a plant for recovering isoprenol essentially free of formaldehyde from a stream of crude isoprenol containing isoprenol, water and formaldehyde, the plant comprising a first low-boiler separation tower, a second low-boiler separation tower, and a finishing tower.

  • Publication number: 20240096105
Abstract: The described aspects and implementations enable efficient detection and classification of objects with machine learning models that deploy a bird's-eye view representation and are trained using depth ground truth data. In one implementation, disclosed are system and techniques that include obtaining images, generating, using a first neural network (NN), feature vectors (FVs) and depth distributions pixels of images, wherein the first NN is trained using training images and a depth ground truth data for the training images. The techniques further include obtaining a feature tensor (FT) in view of the FVs and the depth distributions, and processing the obtained FTs, using a second NN, to identify one or more objects depicted in the images.

  • Patent number: 5163030
Abstract: This watch case includes a caseband (1) and a fitting frame (2) inserted into said caseband. The frame includes a first seat (14) in which a bezel (4) rests, said bezel compressing the elastic material (15) forming the frame against the caseband, a second seat (16) in which a dial (7) is inserted, a third seat (18) in which a bead (19) provided on the movement rests, and a fourth seat (20) in which a flange (21) exhibited by the back cover (3) is inserted, such flange compressing the material forming the frame against the caseband. The watch case is sealed and lends itself particularly well to assembly on automated machinery.

  • Patent number: 4732349
Abstract: A guidance apparatus (10) for guiding a missile (18) to a target (20) by a beam (16) is disclosed. The apparatus (10) includes a device (12) for projecting the beam (16), the orientation of which controls the flight path of the missile (18). The missile (18) includes a circuit for generating a signal when the missile (18) is in a predetermined spatial relationship (e.g., the center coded portion) with respect to said beam (16). When such signal is generated, the angular position of the missile with respect to the target is determined. This positioned relationship is then provided to ground based circuitry (56, 58 and 60) which forms a part of apparatus (10) and which adjusts the orientation of the beam (16) to reduce the angular separation of missile and target.

  • Patent number: 4726712
Abstract: In conjunction with the face mining of bituminous coal, previously excavated or some portions of the tunnel are collapsed in a manner to form a mass of debris into which a mixture of electrostatic filter ash and water is injected to stabilize the structure.

  • Patent number: 4163231
Abstract: A radar mapping technique employing a synthetic aperture radar in conjunction with a correlator for directing an object moving in mid air to a desired point on the ground, which point is determined by correlating direct and indirect return signals from the ground and through the moving object respectively.

  • Patent number: 4136407
Abstract: An under spray arrangement for toilet bowls and the like, comprising a tube or pipe which is displaceably arranged in a cylinder which can be charged with pressurized water and is movable against the restoring force of a spring arrangement from a rest position into a work position. This tube or pipe, in order to form a piston, is closed at one end and is sealed with respect to the inner wall of the cylinder by seal means bearing with pressure at the cylinder wall. In the work position the part of the space or compartment of the cylinder which contains the pressurized water is connected with the internal space of the tube by means of a channel surrounding the seal means.
