Patent number: 9334621Abstract: An eccentric shaft for a compacting machine is rotatable about a rotational axis and includes a fixed and movable eccentric mass where the movable eccentric mass cooperates with the fixed eccentric mass in one of the directions of rotation of the eccentric shaft to partly balance the fixed eccentric mass in the other rotation direction of the eccentric shaft. At least one section of the fixed eccentric mass shows a maximal radial extension (UB) in relation to the rotational axis, limited by an arc-shaped curve, which extends to a circle shape, with the diameter (D) showing a distance (A), between the point (P) on the circle-shaped curve that is located closest to the point of intersection of the rotational axis and the section plane, and the point of intersection, from 0 up to 0.1(D).Type: GrantFiled: November 17, 2014Date of Patent: May 10, 2016Assignee: Dynapac Compaction Equipment ABInventors: Andreas Persson, Hans Christensen

Publication number: 20070217105Abstract: A device for controlling at a fault condition. An apparatus is connected by a connection line to a grid point of a transmission net in an electric power network. A voltage raising apparatus includes a first branch connected to the grid point including a switching element and a second branch including a current resisting means. The voltage raising apparatus includes a computer for signal processing of a sensed fault condition on the network and for affecting the operation of the switching element such that on a fault condition at least part of the current is diverted through the voltage raising apparatus and for evaluation of further actions.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 22, 2004Publication date: September 20, 2007Applicant: ABB RESEARCH LTD.Inventors: Hans Christensen, Lars Gertmar, Sture Lindahl, Juhani Mantere, Erik Koldby Nielsen, Leif-Erik Wraae

Publication number: 20050061311Abstract: A solar collector panel is disclosed for heating of air, in which the conventional insulation material on the back panel facing away from the sun is replaced by a spacing between a permeable back panel and a permeable heat absorber means, so that a heat convection airflow through the back panel and into the interior of the solar energy panel against the temperature gradient prevents the convection heat loss in the opposite direction. The back panel also reduces the radiation heat loss from the heat absorber means. Furthermore, in case the flow of air through the solar energy panel is stopped, the convection-insulation will no longer be effective, and a photovoltaic cell panel placed within the solar energy panel and generating electricity from the solar radiation will not be subjected to the damaging high stagnation temperature of a traditionally insulated solar collector panel.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 26, 2002Publication date: March 24, 2005Inventor: Hans Christensen

Patent number: 4361079Abstract: Apparatus for continuously extending ventilating conduits in tunnelling or mining environments includes a tubular store to which a funnel guide is releasably connected. A folded flexible ventilating pipe is received on the store and fastening means are provided to connect an end of the ventilating pipe to the end of the ventilating conduit to be extended. In use, the apparatus is advanced and the ventilating pipe is gradually pulled off the store and unfolded by being passed over the funnel guide.Type: GrantFiled: September 2, 1980Date of Patent: November 30, 1982Assignees: Ruhrkohle AG, Maschinenfabrik Korfmann GmbHInventors: Hans Christensen, Paul Schlager, Werner Korfmann

Patent number: 4020757Abstract: Machine for marking objects, such as steel sheets, comprising a frame, a raisable and lowerable holding cylinder being suspended from the frame, and an embossing head being arranged beneath and connected to the holding cylinder. An embossing wheel shaft being arranged in the embossing head, and a plurality of embossing wheels being arranged on the embossing wheel shaft. The embossing wheel shaft is connected to a driving motor, secured to the embossing head at the bottom, said embossing wheel shaft being formed so as the embossing wheels one by one are pressed down towards the object when the embossing wheel shaft is turned by means of the driving motor.Type: GrantFiled: September 23, 1975Date of Patent: May 3, 1977Assignee: H.
