  • Publication number: 20190380583
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a method for providing synchronization between a plurality of wireless body sensors, the method comprising: establishing (1010) a time schedule designating different individual sensors of said plurality of wireless body sensors as a master node for respective consecutive periods of time; operating (1020) said plurality of wireless body sensors whereby said different individual sensors broadcast a periodically repeated synchronization signal during said respective consecutive periods of time; analyzing (1030) an energy consumption and performance pattern of said plurality of wireless body sensors under said time schedule; and updating (1040) said time schedule on the basis of said energy consumption and performance pattern. The invention also pertains to a method for operating a synchronized network of wireless body sensors, a wireless body sensor, a scheduler, and a monitoring system.

  • Patent number: 9319062
Abstract: In accordance with the exemplary embodiments of the invention there is at least an apparatus to perform a method including receiving by an analog-to-digital converter a signal; determining whether an in-band blocker is present in the signal; and adjusting a transfer function of the analog-to-digital converter based on whether an in-band blocker is present by configuring a loop filter of the analog-to-digital converter.

  • Patent number: 9136868
Abstract: An improved analog to digital converter comprises at least one delta sigma analog to digital converter stage and a succession of pipelined analog to digital converter stages. The pipelined analog to digital converter stages may have a sampling rate determined separately from that of the at least one delta-sigma analog to digital converter stage. The sampling rate of the at least one delta sigma analog to digital converter stage may be an oversampling rate. The sampling rate of the at least one delta-sigma analog to digital converter stages and the pipeline stages may be adjusted by adjusting their sampling frequency and the number of effective pipeline stages may be adjusted—for example, by adjusting a sampling frequency input at each stage. The effective number of pipeline stages may be adjusted, for example, based on the precision needed to process the current signal.
