  • Patent number: 7086816
Abstract: A cargo-net frame is supported on a cover of a motor vehicle trunk by two different supports each having a body fitted through the covering and having an outer portion formed with an annular outwardly projecting shoulder bearing inward against an outer face of the covering and an inner portion formed as a clip spaced from the shoulder by a distance equal generally to the covering thickness and bearing outward on an inner face of the covering. One of the bodies is tubular and receives an end of the net-frame element. The other body is formed with a laterally open eye in which the element is elastically retained.

  • Patent number: 7080677
Abstract: A cargo-net assembly suitable for mounting in a frame of a motor-vehicle door or seat has a net formed by a plurality of open meshes and having an outer edge and an inextensible cable having a pair of ends. The cable is threaded through the meshes along all but a predetermined section of the net edge between the cable ends. An elastic cord is threaded through the meshes along only the predetermined section and has ends juxtaposed with and secured by respective connectors to the respective cable ends.

  • Publication number: 20050220566
Abstract: The invention relates to a holding element for mounting metal frame nets, especially lateral trunk nets. Said holding element comprises a snap-in device (2), an annular shoulder (5), and a fixation element that can be engaged with the metal frame of the metal frame net for fixating the same. In order to reliably fixate the metal frame net on a trunk bottom or trunk wall covering, the distance between the snap-in device (2) and the annular shoulder (5) corresponds approximately to the thickness of the trunk bottom or trunk wall covering on which the holding element (1) is fixated by means of the snap-in element (2).

  • Publication number: 20050011922
Abstract: Disclosed is a retaining net to be mounted on surfaces in the passenger compartment and/or trunk of motor vehicles. The inventive retaining net is provided with a net Fart, two plastic rails (3) which are disposed at opposite ends of the net part, and two elastic ties that are disposed at the other two opposite ends of the net part and are mounted on the two plastic rails (3). In order to facilitate the manufacturing and mounting of said retaining net, the two plastic rails (3) are provided with one recess (10) for each end mesh at the end of the net part assigned thereto. The net strings embodying the external angle of the end mesh arc inserted into the recesses (10) which are placed at an equal distance next to or underneath each other in the plastic rails (3). A wire is disposed on the inside (16) of each plastic rail (3), opposite the net part (2). Said wire stretches along the recesses (10) disposed in the plastic rail (3) and extends through the external angles of the end meshes of the net part.

  • Publication number: 20040239136
Abstract: The invention relates to a net array for mounting in a frame, comprising a net part (2), a cable part (3) that is passed through all the edge meshes (10) of the net part except on one side (13) and whose configuration is adapted to that of the net part (2), in addition to an elastic tension element (6) that is passed through the edge meshes (14) of the cable-free side (13) of the net part (2). In order to simplify mounting of a holding net or the like having said net array, the net array (1) forms a pre-assembled unit whose cable part (3) and tension element (6) can be inserted into the frame with the purpose of mounting the net array (1) in said frame.
