  • Patent number: 5440039
Abstract: The yield and purity of the condensate obtained in the reaction of cyanuric fluoride with an aqueous amine solution is improved by introducing the reactants into a reactor (1) at a differential rate which results in intensive mixing and substantially completing the reaction in the reactor (1) with no back-mixing, the reactor (1) preferably being a tube (1) into which one nozzle (2) opens axially and one or more nozzle(s) (4) open(s) concentrically thereto.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 9, 1991
Date of Patent: August 8, 1995
    Assignee: Bayer Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Hans-Georg Frosch, Manfred Hoppe, Wolfgang Mullers, Frank-Michael Stohr
  • Patent number: 5420255
Abstract: A process for the continuous reaction of halogenopyrimidines with amines, a halogenopyrimidine and an aqueous amine solution or suspension being passed into a reactor and the reaction product being subsequently conducted away, is described, characterized in that the starting materials are introduced into the reactor simultaneously and continuously with intensive mixing.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 22, 1994
Date of Patent: May 30, 1995
    Assignee: Bayer Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Siegbert Arnold, Hans-Georg Frosch, Manfred Hoppe, Wolfgang Mullers, Richard Sommer
  • Patent number: 5332813
Abstract: Difluorotriazinyl compounds of the formula ##STR1## are continuously reacted in a reactor with amines in solution or suspension.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 3, 1992
Date of Patent: July 26, 1994
    Assignee: Bayer Aktiengesellschaft

  • Patent number: 5091515
Abstract: A new process for the preparation of substituted 2,4-diamino-6-flurotriazines of the formula ##STR1## in which the substituents have the meanings given in the description, comprises reacting ammonium salts of the formula ##STR2## in an aqueous medium at pH values of about 2.5-10 with 2,4,6-trifluorotriazine in a continuous process. The reaction products can be converted to dyestuffs without isolating the intermediates.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 4847408
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of diisocyanates corresponding to the formulaOCN--R--NCOwhereinR denotes a (cyclo)aliphatic hydrocarbon group with up to 15 carbon atomsby phosgenation of the corresponding diamines represented by the formulaH.sub.2 N--R--NH.sub.2in the gas phase, characterized in that(a) the diamines in vapor form, optionally diluted with an inert gas or with the vapors of an inert solvent, and phosgene are separately heated to temperatures of about 200.degree. to 600.degree. C. and continuously reacted together in a cylindrical reaction chamber which is free from moving parts and heated to about 200.degree. to 600.degree. C., while a turbulent flow is maintained in the reaction chamber.
