    Abstract: A wave-coating method and associated apparatus for wetting a surface of a lamp part in the form of a plate, with a suspension. The apparatus has a feed apparatus for supplying the suspension, and an outlet-flow apparatus for carrying away an outflowing part of the suspension, and, finally, a holding apparatus for holding the feed, the outlet-flow apparatus, and the lamp part. The lamp part and holding apparatus are connected to one another during the wetting process such that a cavity is formed between them. The wave-coating apparatus is designed such that the suspension enters the cavity via the feed apparatus and emerges from the cavity via the outlet-flow apparatus.
