Abstract: A extended reality communication system, methods, apparatus, and computer program product are disclosed. The communication system provides for remote real-time communication between a proctor and an operator, where the operator is performing tasks on a local work object, such as a patient. The system incorporates a combination of haptic, virtual keyboard, VR, XR, and audio inputs to provide communication of instructions between the proctor and the operator that are projected as a holographic image in a field of view on the patient. The system includes a proctor station and an operator station communicatively coupled with one or more servers.

Abstract: In some implementations, a computing device can guide a user of the computing device through creation of media content using storyboard templates. For example, the user may invoke a media editing application on the computing device. The media editing application can be configured with a plurality of different storyboard templates to be used for the creation of different types or categories of content. A storyboard template corresponding to a particular type of content can include suggested media segments and suggested media clips for the particular type, or topic, of content. Thus, a particular storyboard template can include suggested media segments and suggested media clips that are different from other storyboard templates. The media editing application can include features that allow the user to edit the storyboard template and/or the media content corresponding to a storyboard project created by the user.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method that provides a graphical user interface (GUI) on a first device for controlling application of color corrections to a media item by a media editing application on a second device. The method provides a display area that includes several different locations. Each location in the display area corresponds to a set of values. The method provides several user interface (UI) items that are each for (1) moving in the display area and (2) specifying a set of values for a color correction operation that the media editing application applies to the media item. The set of values for the color correction operation specified by each UI item is the set of values is associated with the location at which the UI item is positioned in the display area.
