  • Patent number: 11173972
Abstract: A crawler bar of a crawler track of a crawler vehicle is provided, including a linear bar base body and a cutting element. The cutting element contains a plurality of cutting element portions, each including a cutter-connecting member and a cutter. When installed, the crawler bar engages on a driving surface of the vehicle. The cutter-connecting member protrudes from and extends on the bar base body in a longitudinal extension of the bar base body. A main face of a first cutter-connecting member of a first cutting element portion lies in a plane (H1), a main face of a further cutter-connecting member of a further cutting element portion lies in a plane (H2), and the two planes (H1) and (H2) have a single intersection line (S)with each other.

  • Patent number: 6356543
Abstract: A method and system are disclosed whereby a mobile phone user can select one or more service preferences for the mobile phone from a simulated mobile phone display on an Internet web page. The user can access the web page from a personal or business computer. Once the selection has been made, the user can save the preferences to a server in the mobile phone network. The server contains (or provides links to) the full complement of services that are available for selection. The selected services' applications are downloaded from the server to the mobile phone (via the network) either immediately (if a network connection is already made) or the next time the phone is turned on. Consequently, the user can readily obtain the services desired, and also customize the display and “look and feel” of the mobile phone.

  • Patent number: 6327567
Abstract: A method for spatializing audio in conference calls is described in which the participants in the calls are placed in particular locations in order to provide an additional dimension (direction) so that the participants can better recognize who is speaking. Also, the dimension of volume is provided, which can be used in creating background sub-conferences. Consequently, sub-conferences can be conducted in which the participants can move seamlessly between them and also listen to other sub-conferences being conducted in the background.

  • Patent number: 6296330
Abstract: A crawler web for crawler belts of crawler vehicles, in particular for ski slope vehicles or cross-country trackers, is proposed, which is fastened, transversely to the running direction, to mutually parallel bands oriented in the direction of travel. The bands being an elongate basic body which has a sheet-like support connected in the direction of the bands. The object of the invention is to provide a crawler web which can be adapted individually for different applications and can be produced at comparatively low costs. The object is achieved in that the basic body encompasses, in cross section, two side legs with a connecting web arranged between them, at least one side leg approaching the other in such a way that a cutting edge can be inserted between the legs.

  • Patent number: 5946381
Abstract: A method and system are disclosed in which an incoming call is routed to a service node with a World-Wide Web interface. In a preferred embodiment, responsive to an incoming call, an "alert" software routine is executed in the service node, which sends an alert message to a Java software application residing in the called party's terminal (e.g., personal computer, etc.). The Java application causes a window to be displayed on the called party's terminal, which shows pertinent information about the calling party. The displayed window also contains "buttons" that allow the called party to choose (at a minimum) whether to accept the call, reject the call, hold the call, or re-direct the call to another phone.
