Abstract: A stick for the application of adhesive material to a substrate, comprising an adhesive dissolved or dispersed in a liquid medium containing an alkali metal or ammonium salt of an aliphatic carboxylic acid having from 8 to 36 carbon atoms, characterized in that the adhesive comprises a mixture of (i) an aqueous dispersion of an optionally carboxylated (C.sub.4 to C.sub.10)-alkyl ester of acrylic acid and (ii) an aqueous dispersion of polyethylene.The stick enables articles to be removably bonded to substrates without leaving a film of adhesive on the substrate after removal.

Abstract: A curing composition consisting of two components, one of the components comprising a vinyl monomer and an initiator of polymerization, the other component comprising an accelerator of polymerization, characterized in that the composition further comprises a redox indicator having E.sub.o from above +0.01 to below +0.76 volts and R.sub.H from 13.5 to 28.
