  • Patent number: 7226011
Abstract: This invention provides an apparatus for handling bulk material as located at circular or linear storage site. More specifically, a reclaimer apparatus is described having a platform mounted on one or more wheel track assemblies arranged to roll on at least one rail. A pivotal reclaim conveyor assembly is made of a head shaft and a tail shaft and means to support a plurality of rakes, wherein the plurality of rakes are spaced at intervals in a continuous loop around the pivotal reclaim conveyor assembly. The fixed incline conveyor assembly having a head shaft and a tail shaft, the incline conveyor assembly having means to support a plurality of buckets, the plurality of buckets being spaced at intervals in a continuous loop around the inclined conveyor assembly.

  • Patent number: 4629060
Abstract: Apparatus for handling bulk material located in a pile at a storage site including a stationary support column that is anchored at the lowermost end thereof. The support column supports a stacker device at the uppermost end thereof, the stacker device being mounted for rotating movement relative to said support column for stacking the material at the storage site in a substantially circular array. A material feed device is mounted over said stacker device and feeds the material thereto during the stacking operation. Mounted for rotary movement relative to said support column is a reclaimer device, the reclaimer device being operable to reclaim the material from the pile for transfer thereof to a discharge area.

  • Patent number: 4363396
Abstract: A device for the building up and discharge of an annular dump of bulk on a circular storage site. In the center of the circular storage site is provided at least one jib of a dumping device rotatable about a vertical axis, which is fed with the bulk material by means of a feed belt, the discharge end of which is situated above the dumping device in the center of the device. Moreover there is provided at least one removal device which can be swivelled about said vertical axis and machinery situated in the neighborhood of the center by means of which the bulk material removed is fed to a conveyor belt passing through said vertical axis. The removal device and the jib of the dumping device are arranged on a framework which is supported and guided on at least one circular railway concentric with said axis.

  • Patent number: 4333561
Abstract: An elevator having a bucket conveyor for moving material, as grain, from a hopper to a discharge location. The conveyor has an endless belt trained about idler and drive pulleys. A plurality of cups secured to the belt carry columns of material from the hopper to the head of the elevator. The cups include a plurality of open bottom cups and a closed bottom cup located below a column of open bottom cups to carry a column of grain. An arcuate curved material guide element is located adjacent the cups moving around the drive pulley at the upper end of the elevator to retain material in the cups as they move around the drive pulley. The guide element is a curved baffle that is adjustably mounted on the elevator head housing allowing the position of the baffle relative to the outer lips of the cup to be adjusted to retain the material in the cups as the cups move over the head pulley and to control the discharge of the material from the cups.

  • Patent number: 4154332
Abstract: Loose bulk material, such as gravel or the like, is moved by a conveyor or the like from an initial station to a storage area or to a final station where it is utilized in some manner, such as being mixed with other material. When the level of the loose bulk material at the final station is at a maximum level, any loose bulk material coming from the initial station will be conveyed to the storage area where it will be stacked into a storage pile having a predefined shape. When the level of loose bulk material at the final station drops to or below a minimum level, any loose bulk material coming from the initial station will be conveyed directly to the final station. In addition, loose bulk material will be reclaimed from the storage pile in a predefined pattern so as to leave any remainder of the storage pile in a portion of the predefined shape.
