  • Patent number: 7803317
Abstract: An apparatus for decontamination of objects, such as temperature-sensitive devices for military applications, comprises a vacuum chamber having an internal space for receiving an object to be decontaminated. A vacuum pump produces a vacuum in the internal space. A heater is used for heating the internal space. A first arrangement is provided for ventilation of the internal space, and a second arrangement is provided for filling the internal space with a gaseous chemical decontamination agent. The apparatus can be used optionally for disinfection or detoxification, with a low decontamination temperature being sufficient in both cases because of the low pressure in the chamber.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 12, 2007
Date of Patent: September 28, 2010
    Assignee: Kaercher Futuretech GmbH
    Inventors: Hans-Joachim Toepfer, Markus Kostron
  • Publication number: 20100044369
Abstract: A container module for military and/or humanitarian field operations has a floor, a roof cover and side walls which, at least in the transport state, form a substantially closed, preferably cuboid container housing. A number of technical devices are permanently installed in the container housing and determine the functional scope of the container module. The container housing is permanently mounted on a load-bearing transport plate.

  • Patent number: 6517639
Abstract: A method and a device for decontaminating interior spaces are proposed. It is provided here that a base station and at least one mobile subunit are provided, the base station comprising a supply of decontamination agent and fuel and the subunit comprising decontamination equipment and a tank for ready-to-use decontamination agent, that the subunit is supplied with decontamination agent and with fuel at the base station and then transported to the item requiring decontamination of its interior space, the decontamination of the interior space is carried out and subsequently the subunit is returned to the base station to be re-supplied there with decontamination agent and fuel. Also proposed is a device with an off-road, automotive undercarriage with a drive motor, a storage tank for a decontamination liquid and a receiving tank for used decontamination liquid as well as a spray-extraction device for decontaminating the interior surface and with a generator for supplying power.
