  • Patent number: 7220280
Abstract: An implant for placement between vertebrae, with two sidepieces joined together at one end, each of which can be placed against one of the vertebrae, and with a device for vertical distraction of the sidepieces. In the initial position for the distraction, the outside surfaces of the sidepieces that face the vertebrae converge towards the free ends of the sidepieces. This wedge shape of the implant facilitates the insertion of the implant into the intervertebral space.

  • Bed
    Patent number: 6986180
Abstract: A reclining device (1) is described having a support (10) which can be moved back and forth between different positions automatically and continuously, so that the spinal column and other joints, for example of the hip, knee, leg, can be moved and exercised specifically.

  • Publication number: 20040127994
Abstract: An implant for placement between vertebrae, especially as used for joining vertebrae after a diskectomy. The shape of the implant is adapted to a depression present in the vertebral surfaces facing the implant. This adaptation to the slightly depressed vertebral surface results in the implant producing less stress on the vertebral bodies and ensures a high degree of positional stability of the implant between the vertebrae.

  • Patent number: 6554360
Abstract: Described is a seat (10) comprising a seat squab (12) and a backrest (14) which is displaceable in respect of its inclination. In order to achieve a load relief for the intervertebral disc of a user of the seat and thus optimum seating comfort, the seat (10) provides that the backrest (14) is displaceable between convex lordosis positions and concave kyphosis positions in dependence on the respective backrest inclination.

  • Patent number: 6371987
Abstract: A device for connecting vertebrae of the vertebral or spinal column through an implant to be arranged between the vertebrae. The implant has at least one hollow space and openings to allow bone tissue formed for connecting the vertebrae to grow into the implant. The implant includes a connecting portion to be placed against exposed soft bone tissue and at least one spacer portion protruding from the connecting portion to be placed against hard bone tissue.
