    Abstract: A casing for a radial turbine in an exhaust gas turbocharger for a motor vehicle includes a gas duct having an inlet section and an adjoining spiral section, between which a casing tab is arranged. The spiral section features a radially inner turbine inlet, the axial width of which in the region of the casing tab circumferentially decreases toward an end face of the casing tab in a circumferential section. An end face of the casing tab is inclined relative to a rotational axis of the radial turbine in an axial section.
